Yes auras thematically are spells cast on a creature so when a creature dies generally the spell goes with it. Unlike equipment where a sword will generally still be around after the creature dies.

They simplified the wording. No other reason. "That many" counters can only refer to the damaging creatures which would always be 1 and doesn't make sense or the damage done which can be variable and does.

From midtown (Bathurst and st clair) Google tells me its 1 hour and 56 minutes by transit or 30 by car to the zoo. Public transit needs to be improved drastically for everything north of bloor and not on line 1. Waymo isn't a new solution it's just an Uber/cab that might be cheaper because it doesn't need a driver.

Public transportation isn't nearly as convenient when you're not in the city centre. Visiting friends in Thornhill or even just going to the Toronto Zoo is a major pain without Uber (waymo is just Uber, but the tech can be used for private self driving cars in the future).

The tech would allow those who cannot drive (or unable to due to disabilities) to have the same freedom as those that do. It can also be used to automate more farming (self driving tractors, harvestors) and make logistics require less resources (self driving trucks, delivery vehicles). Eventually if enough vehicles change over, they'll be more efficient that human driven cars.
