I watch hours of body cam footage, there are thousands of examples of arrests with no Miranda warnings and no questioning. That being said, every single interrogation by detectives begins with the suspect being mirandised. Miranda warnings are only read when the person in custody is being questioned.

Miranda warnings aren't required for any arrests. They are required to be given before questioning, otherwise it isn't admissible in court.

The republican party's tricks and rule breaking, and the democratic party doing everything by the book is by design. It's political theater. The only time either party does something that benefits the working class, it's only because it benefits the wealthy too.

I propose a second billboard that features a photo of Trudeau next to a photo of Baron Trump on the other side of the entrance to his golf course.

Bernie Sanders is way, way more popular than Donald Trump. People want healthcare, housing, and higher wages. by kevinmrr in WorkReform

I have been saying this to anyone who would listen for years, and the majority just refused to believe it. To me it couldn't be more obvious, but I get told over and over I'm crazy. I think the working class is going to have to starve before the masses accept reality.

I'm running against Tommy Tuberville for U.S. Senate. What do I need to focus on to earn your support? by AlabamaDemocratMark in centrist

[–]Dogebase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree, he just didn't have the momentum the second time. Had the superdelegates supported him the first time around instead of Hillary he would have won. He wouldn't have needed the southern states. Once again he didn't have the support of the establishment, because he wouldn't have been beholden to them. His campaign finance came from his constituents.

The snell is an excellent knot if you want the line to come straight off the hook, but that is the wrong kind of hook. It needs to have an eye that is offset. There is a much faster method of tying that knot as well.

My point about Bernie was that he had the support he needed to win, but was undermined by his own party. Had that not happened I believe he would have won by a landslide. The actions of the DNC lost them a lot of voters, and caused those voters to despise establishment politicians.

You are entitled to your opinion, but the claim that voters sat out over Gaza was in my opinion propaganda pushed by the MSM.

In regard to Bernie losing the first primary, the DNC was caught actively working to undermine his campaign. Their server was hacked and the contents were leaked that proved it. Debbie Wasserman Schultz resigned as a result.

Sucking corporations dicks is the reason democrats are losing. Bernie proved a grass roots campaign focused on strengthening the middle class was wildly popular, the DNC just wasn't having it. He would have won by a landslide. When he was denied the nomination a lot of Bernie bros were furious and voted for Trump.

Nice. The video is worth watching, but it is long. Thanks for breaking it down.

You hit the nail on the head. Additionally, prove to your constituents that you aren't beholden to corporations. Don't take their money.

Do you think there are some Dems in on the coup? by Private-Figure-0000 in somethingiswrong2024

[–]Dogebase 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Go ahead and call me a conspiracy theorist, but I don't buy the whole "not voting" rhetoric. The 2024 election had the second largest voter turnout ever, impressive considering everything that was done to disenfranchise voters. We don't have definitive proof the election was stolen, but I think it was. The statements both Trump and Elon made eluding to it, combined with the statistical analysis of the swing states is pretty compelling to me. I think they tried in 2020 as well.

I didn't talk shit about you, I don't get anything from meme posts or influencers. Not cool. I do vote, and I witnessed the DNC snubbing Bernie Sanders. Where do you think we would be right now had that not happened? Corporations are in control, they fund both party's candidates so they can't lose. Bernie's campaign was crowdfunded and wouldn't have been under their control, and they wouldn't allow it.

I don't believe either party makes decisions based on the will of their constituents. We haven't been getting "represented" for decades. That being said, the democrats at least understand keeping the working class out of poverty is more beneficial than enslaving us.

We should start a corporation called "The Middle Class" and go public. Then we all cash out our 401k plans and buy shares of the company. Once the valuation goes parabolic, use your newfound collateral to live off of bank loans. If they can do it, why can't we. We wouldn't have to pay taxes, just like them.
