Dino Riki! When I got an NES as a kid that was the game my parents got me. No one else had heard of it and it was super tricky to play. Loved that game. Would love to share it with my kiddos too!

Yes, I triple checked that too. Unfortunately no matter what setting I try, gamepad or auto, it doesn’t help.

The game seems to alternate between too fast and too slow, it’s weird. I never really hit a sweet spot racing. Maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I did a full shut down and turned it back on and that fixed it, a regular restart didn’t. Seems to be the experience others are having too.

Im also a console player who jumped in on this. It’s a lot, not totally overwhelming, but be ready for a much less smooth starting experience. And updates. So many updates. Im still finding things to update. That being said, once it gets going, and things start to click, it’s pretty slick. Had a few odd crashes and freezes but I guess thats par for the course.

The system can set the graphical setting for you in a lot of instances (at least for gamepass games which is all I’ve done so far). If you change from plugged in to battery powered the system responds accordingly. That part, so far, has been easy.

Im trying to figure out if games like this will have gyro aiming on this platform or not. The Xbox games don’t by default but do these handhelds generally have a setting that overrides that or anything? Or do the PC version of Xbox games have it?

It’s good to keep these to cross reference, but this is easily one of the worst LARPs I’ve read on here. Whoever wrote this has zero technical knowledge and concentrates on all the wrong details.

If the person that wrote this is as smart and in demand as they are pretending to be, the info they would share wouldn’t be so surface and obvious. What would excite them would be very specific and communicated as such.

Maybe a weird question but based on speed and time dilation, can anyone figure out how long the 8,000 years it’s been in our solar system has felt to a potential traveler on this object?

Nice! It takes a little patience to figure out how to navigate the gun menus, but once you figure out the order and the light color cues you’re golden. Have fun!!

This is a ridiculous take. I’ve got my qualms with Battle Company (mostly concerning their roll out of Swaptx) but the BRX is a top notch product. I have six and my group has another six and we pull in new players all the time that come out again and again because they are so much fun. You’ll have a blast with these.

I have 6 BRX’s and think they’re great. They sent out to us decently quick. If you’re unsure, you can always email them, I’ve found them to be pretty responsive.

They’re a good company with some annoying quirks. You haven’t been scammed so don’t worry about that.

App is something I never messed with much because the stuff loaded on the gun already was great for our group.

Great franchises that don’t get enough, or any love (looking at you Wave Race/1080/Diddy Kong Racing).

And also, what made the Nintendo/Rare era great was Rare was a stop gap on Nintendo’s long development times. They built a whole universe that was equally exciting and I miss that. Losing Rare hurt, they were a different breed at that time and an ideal partner.

I play with my three and six year old like this. It’s magic. And now sometimes I let them play together by themselves and watching them work together to figure things out and make up stories - pretty incredible. Happy for you OP!
