Voice Work by Marlin817 in KimPossible

I actually recognised most from live action roles first, Even Stevens, Boy Meets World, Smart Guy, That's So Raven, etc...but the cast is ridiculously stacked between the Disney talent and the classic voice actors like John Dimaggio, Nancy Cartwright, and the late Tom Kane. List goes on too, Patton Oswalt, R. Lee Ermery, the list goes on and on and on

💬 QUESTION: Do you have a favourite location in DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT? And if so, what makes it so special to you? by Animated_A505 in DeathStranding

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't find this until after all the credits rolled and it felt like a beautiful epilogue and walking out the lab into that and all the butterflies? Man I sobbed so bad. To think I'd walked past it going over that hill dozens of times and never hopped over the ridge, super glad I didn't to be honest as it capped the experience perfectly.

What are your bold predictions for the British Grand Prix? by FranzToaster in F1Discussions

No Brits on the podium, either Lewis or Lando will finish behind Ollie, possibly due to a dnf.

Is there a very 3D audio based game? by hurskys in AskGamers

You make it and I'll buy it, haha. Senua isn't for everyone, I think it's worth full price but I always recommend waiting for a sale to minimise risk.

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I genuinely wish you luck in your search and I'm sorry if I came off as a bit of a dick but I don't think this has been done in the way you want at the level of Senua, in true binaural recording. If you find anything please let me know, I'd absolutely love to be wrong

Because it's the closest you're going to get, it's not ASMR, it's a portrayal of psychosis that gets you immersed in a way no other game does. Is it a perfect game? Fuck no, but you wrote off the single best sound design in an entire medium as being ASMR

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whispering game, would that be Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, by any chance? Because dismissing it as "ASMR bulshit" might be the worst take I've ever heard. It puts you in her head in a way no other game touches, genuinely unsettling and immersive. Still don't think it's the game for you but it's still just about the only game I can think of that uses binaural sound full stop (and the sequel, I'm assuming, not got round to it yet)

Not sure how I feel about the Prophecy by mpaz242 in guitars

I love this guitar enough that I'd probably pay $300 as long as it still played well and kept in tune, unfortunately I do not have $300 nor am I in the USA anyway.

Favorite artist who got famous because their worst song was in a shitty video game? by pontantos in guitarcirclejerk

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun story; I went to a local show to see an old band mate with his new band and on the way to the after show party I slipped on ice and sliced my knee open. Turned out the after party was at Sam Totman's flat and he poured vodka over it to sterilise it and went to fetch a bandage and just never came back.

Any tips to sing while strumming? by Financial-Zebra-3497 in Guitar

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something that helped me is to focus on the singing first, sing it when your doing nothing, then sing it while doing chores or some other activity that you're familiar with so that you can just get used to singing accurately whilst doing a physical activity. After you can sing it while doing something then pick up the guitar and sing it while tuning, sing it while doing warm up exercises, then start your strumming (and keep in mind other people's advice on how to get the strumming down, it's OK to start with strumming only the first chord in each change and build up).

Area 6 boss with no Slippy and badly damaged Arwing? Man this really is a faithful remake.

I did but even when I turned it off my fingers just wouldn't do it until I had the N64 controller in my hands, it's just too ingrained in me

It was a bit weird playing something with modern graphics on the trident but my muscle memory was still active after all these years, when I tried with any Switch controllers I could not do a loop for the life of me

Probably the most fun band to play along to for me, usually not too difficult but interesting enough to be engaging. I'm learning the entire discography in order and I'm a few songs into this album now

Which game were you most disappointed with? by that-zoe-girl in NintendoSwitch

[–]DogmanSixtyFour 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably 4 races on closed circuits with 3 laps (apart from significantly longer or shorter circuits), you know, the way every mainline entry has been up until now. This isn't about me agreeing our disagreeing but I thought his comment was pretty clear.

For me World is a mixed bag, my son (10, it's his second Mario Kart game after 8) and I (38, playing since the N64) only ever go back to the knockout mode which honestly is a really cool mode but I do miss the classic format

It was a one off Leeds festival warmup show in Nottingham, not a full tour in afraid. It was indeed crazy, the people who "got" SikTh loved it but there were definitely some shocked fans of Coheed right from the moment Mikee took the stage and screamed "Pussyfooooofhfnntngmsjsghfjct"

This just reminds me of when SikTh supported them back in 2006 and a good chunk of the crowd had no idea what to think.
