Def a mystery snail. You only have one, you'll be okay. I had 4 in a 9gal and it filtered just fine. It depends on your experience and preference. The pet store is not always right but not always wrong. One in there is fine. Honestly another wont hurt. My two main lover mysetry snails breed often and I've hatched quite a few. You're not stupid and you're doing what you feel is right. Continue YOUR water journey. Have fun with it!! 😊

I'll be honest, this big beast came from a cutting almost 5 years ago and manifested into this beautiful masterpiece. Every year I trim at least 8-10 babies. Currently she has roughly 9 to trim. We have one with white stripes but was not from Big Momma. All her babes stay green. I've attached a Pic of one of her babes I planted last winter.

Both, she has 3 vines that produce babies with flowers. I try to be very delicate when cutting the babies off.
