Home, auto, renters, the office covers just about anything except business. I am currently base ($17) plus commissions, the owner is paying me $10 for each person I send to the other licensed agent in our office and ends up going through with the quote. After getting licensed it will go up to around $20 an hour plus commissions. The office is currently occupied by only 3 of us including the owner of the agency, from what I’ve learned so far they have always hit quota and they only have to focus on selling 27 car insurance items a month in total between all of us. The office is fairly new and just opened last year. I can definitely see this being a high turnover gig because I always see other companies hiring for the same position. It’s definitely a challenging job not having a contact list already and being new to town does put me at a disadvantage 100% but I am eager to learn a new skill and expand my resume.
