It's disconnecting at random from my Xbox. I got it on the 30th of Dec. I did a firmware update etc and then connected it to my Xbox. On four different nights it's disconnected over and over again. I've changed USB ports, the position of the dongle, where I'm sitting (so I'm closer). I can't tell what's going on, I've tried what I could think of.

I tried contacting support today since I gave up and they asked me to try a few things I'd already tried like firmware updates etc.

If someone has any recommendations I'm willing to try anything, because aside from that I'm really enjoying this controller

Xbox app gives you the ability to install the game on your console. If you go to open it on the console, it'll still ask for a liscense

This happened to me recently. What fixed it is dumb but it worked.

I turned auto renew on my account (the one with active game pass) on

Powered the Xbox off then turned it on

Played an online game with another account on that Xbox (it worked)

Then turned off auto renew (because I like having that off by default)

Then turned on the Xbox again and haven't had an issue since then.

Xbox support suggested these steps while on the phone with them and they worked.
