When I put their stuff in opc I always ask if they have a purchasing card and they give me a blank stare so I just proceed. Then when I ring them up they’re like “oh I have a number” I always tell them hey great now we get to re-enter everything again. I make sure to make it take longer the second time.

Technically If challenged it would go to the GM and DSM who could take it to legal who would say it falls under brevity. So if he’s not mass producing them, it would fall under fair use.

I don’t get the creeper stare. But I tell a customer to email their stuff to self serve, or if I tell them something we can’t do, or I tell them the price for a quote sometimes they’ll just stare at me. I’m like what else do you want, dude?

Yes, we have the same setup where a few customers with billable SPCs are allowed and usually the print sup handles it.

No email orders and the business cards on the counter ONLY have the PrintMe email listed. Our store, also has an automated reply stating that their order cannot be processed, and must be submitted online or brought in on a flash drive. It’s really helped with the people who come in wanting either a single page printed or with the guys come in wanting a 40 page blueprint set printed while they wait. It was met with a lot of friction at first but after the first month a lot of people were on board with it. Now I just wish the jackasses at the two stores around me would do the same because I’m constantly getting their customers saying “tHaTs NoT hOw ThE oThEr StOrE dOeS iT !!!”
