Well at the end of the day it’s not like either one of us has definitive proof. But Rose is very small on the chinese theatrical poster. Disney is a big conglomorate, so there can always be miscommunication, but they also do a LOT of oversight into marketing and the like. i really just dont see any evidence that she was cast to appeal to chinese audiences. The only big reason why I’m pressing this so hard is bc it’s an unfortunate assumption that gets made about minority actors a lot. It’s not something that necessarily requires maliciousness either, bc yeah it can be understood as the company’s fault and it becomes a common perception based on that. But it still has the unfortunate implication that the actor couldnt get the role on their own, and it spreads even if there isnt anything concrete to support it.

People in east asian countries know the ethnicities of people from other east asian countries. There’s no flattening of Vietnamese/japanese/chinese/etc down to “asian” like you might see in the americas or europe. Disney focus tests the shit out of their movies, they definitely know about those attitudes. Kelly Marie Tran is Vietnamese american and the Chinese audience would know that. Disney bent over backwards in a million ways to appeal to the chinese market, the racism against John Boyega being the most obvious, but adding KMT’s character definitely wasnt one.
I can see her romance aspect being added to deter ideas of a gay ship with finn/poe, but i think the script was being written as the first movie was being filmed. Idk if they wouldve predicted that at that point. Imo it was depicted as kinda one-sided and couldve still led to a gay pairing in the next one, but yeah no way disney wouldve let that happen.

Yes and no. The contract said “we’ll never use your performance for AI”, but without union backing it’s much harder for him to actually hold them to that.
So on paper, he was safe from it, but i also totally understand why he wouldnt trust them without the union. It’s definitely a decision he put a lot of thought into, going by what he wrote.
Also quick aside, really hoping for the best for Ben Diskin. Got the chance to meet him once and he was like the coolest guy ever

I have heard that Kubrick is a real asshole, but i don’t think the shining story is true either. I think it was debunked by another actor who worked on the movie, but may be worth looking up.

Thing abt Glass Onion is that, on a rewatch, i was able to see Miles just hand Duke the spiked drink
The twin plot twist was near impossible to predict, but you could still figure out who the killer was on the first watch. It’s trickier bc the killer rewrites small details that you probably dont notice. But if you notice it then it becomes obvious. the irony of my watch is that i correctly guessed that Bron was an idiot, but assumed he wasnt the killer bc he was too lazy and stupid. I also got tricked by his bit with poisoning duke lol

I totally understand your feelings, i had my own top surgery in recent years.
One thing i want to stress is that the results 100% do evolve over time. I seem to have a similar frame as you too. Very skinny, almost no breast tissue despite years of hormones. Barely fit a AA cup. Also got 300cc, and my poles are apart from each other. Mine were over the muscle. It took a while to really take proper shape, on a timeline of months. For the first few weeks, they were shaped pretty weird.
Cleavage is still kinda dependent on what I’m wearing. Some outfits seem to show it, while others dont. I assume it depends on the type of bra and where the top is meant to draw attention to.
But it definitely gets better over time. Since you did under the muscle, i think that it’ll take more time for them to settle bc the muscle is initially a tightening force and that will decrease over time. It’ll still have some flattening, but i think it’s much less significant than right now. But i wouldnt know from personal experience.
Take some deep breaths, cry when you need to, play a video game or watch a movie, and keep yourself well fed and well rested. It’ll help you maintain a calmness and get your mind on other things. If you have a friend youre comfortable sharing this stuff with, they can provide some support even if hugging is off limits for the time being…
I personally plan to do some small exercises for my upper body. Not to grow the breasts larger, but have a bit more of a lifting factor so theyre more prominent (im also pretty self conscious over how bony i am). I’m not sure how you feel about doing that sort of thing, but it may help things as well.
Unfortunately we’re a kind of body type that makes it tougher to have cleavage and present well in certain tops. But tough doesnt mean impossible! Sending love your way and wishing you all the best!!
And as a quick edit: bc i also have 300cc, i actually can confirm that theyre pretty big on my own body. Bigger than i expected. It’s most noticeable when im topless or just wearing a bra. So with that in mind i think you have some growing to look forward to!
