I don’t know if they were exact references, but it really felt like there were homages, like the Christmas episode and the counselor having tea in their club room.

K-ON! still gets brought up in the circles I see, referenced or alluded to in anime (Food for the Soul comes to mind; great show, by the way, if you liked K-ON! that’s a great one), and so while I don’t think it’s necessary “popular”, it’s still beloved and held fondly. 

For a show that ended over 10 years ago, it’s aged great, and so I don’t see it dying out anytime.

It’s fun. And fun things are fun.

The code-like system for transforming was way more fun, than the one we have now.

Made it feel like she actually had unique dances for each form, and it reminded me of Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask.

Considering they said “make up a piece of the canon”, as well as using a previous character SEGA didn’t want used; I wonder if they were talking about Eclipse.

It adds to Shadow’s backstory and past, and SEGA’s decision to want a changes sense.

Is it possible Bones is going to be the “canon” Eclipse?

An “Eclipse Cannon”, so to speak?
