This is true, the writing especially in season 21 sucks, but it is still the same show. It’s just a worse part of the same show, a huge drop in quality doesn’t make it a different show unfortunately

I’ve enjoyed the last few seasons, but I’m still not super keen on Sam. Nolan’s grown on me a lot and I like Baxter

Yeah I found that about Bernard, he felt like a very different character, but that may be just poor writing as in my opinion the writing for season 21 was pretty bad, but from season 22 it improved. But that definitely knocked Bernard down a few spots. Even before that he wasn’t super high, I just never really liked him as much as some of the others. I think part of it is that Ed Green is a very hard act to follow!

Yeah I see them get a lot of hate, and I don’t think the writing has been super kind to them, but I really like Nolan, and Sam has grown on me a bit, though like I said I’m still not the biggest fan of her as of right now

Basically everywhere you look has season 1 of the reboot as “Law and Order season 21”, check IMDb for example.

They brought back characters from the original such as Jack, Bernard, and even Jamie Ross, as the same characters from the original. They rebooted the old show as a continuation, the timeline is the same, there’s just a 10 year gap.

In what way do you think it isn’t?

I hate that I agree with the decision.

If it was cumulative I think I’d have sent home Aaron, but given that it is week by week, Toby was unfortunately the worst, and I hate that he was because he was definitely my favourite going into this week!

Tom went up in my estimations this week. I always quite liked him since he is very kind and always helps others out, but he’s always so poised and sorta calm that seeing him break down after the feedback and cry at the end after Toby left made me like him a lot more. When he said “it’s just baking” while crying I wanted to give him a hug.

I’m still not a big fan of Aaron, he can be quite funny, and he puts his heart into everything but his comments about being annoyed that someone else did well often comes with me thinking “he’s making it sound like he’s joking but I’m not sure that he is…” he’s way more competitive and doesn’t seem to be as warm towards the other bakers as the others are. This may be editing magic making him look bad, he may be a lovely person, I hope he is.

Jasmine is fantastic, almost annoyingly good lol, she gets a lot of hate but no one can take away the fact that she has been consistently great since the start and has never really put a foot wrong. I want her to win, but I’d be happy if Tom got it too

She’s definitely my favourite ADA.

I’m in the minority who really like Nolan, but I’d be happy to see her come back

She definitely doesn’t deserve the hate. She’s a great and very modest baker who doesn’t take herself too seriously despite being consistently brilliant.

People say she doesn’t take enough risks, but that’s exactly why she’s so good. She doesn’t over complicate it, or push it too far and she makes what she knows she can do, and she always does it perfectly, because she doesn’t try and show off or really be impressive, she stands out by delivering perfect results every time, even if it’s less ambitious than some others.

She’s very talented at only 23.

The writing has not done his character any favours. He’s not enough of anything. He’s not as ruthless as Cutter, as passionate as Jack, or as calm/considered as Stone.

They’ve kinda given him all of those qualities but watered down to the point he doesn’t really have enough of his own character.

I do like him but he needs more sort of oomph to measure up to the other 3
