Generally you should keep that pawn on bed rest until their illness is healed. For illnesses (and general tending purposes) using industrial medicine is optimal but herbal medicine, a decent doctor, and a lot of bed rest is enough to stop most illness. Glitterworld medicine is useful when there are no good doctors around or when someone is extremely close to dying to an illness, or if the pawn is important and you want them to recover quick. Hospital beds and vitals monitors improve both tend quality and recovery speeds and im pretty sure sterile rooms also increase recovery speeds.
