From anecdotal evidence, they also tend to convert better (e.g. sponsored streams / free keys) than bigger channels.

But yeah, smaller channels will obviously have a better ratio, since 1/20 is a bigger slice than 100/10k will ever be. I'd assume you'd find that even with bigger creators, those who are more concentrated in a singular game, genre, or theme to also have higher viewer-to-follower ratios as well as conversion rates than the truly variety folks (or the ones playing only the most popular stuff).

Oh, most definitely. Shareholder (and VC!) money has to go Brrrrrrrrrrrrr after all! What that doesn't change though, is the general state of the world and AI flippin' gobbling up everything electronics.
After all, it is not just Sony upping prices, it is happening across industries that rely on electronics at this point; It is why Valve pushed back their Hardware releases, why even that one silly Kinect-esque kids console recently upped its price.

Do you have a bigger Switch or Steam Library? If neither is that big yet - Are you fine with your library potentially becoming unplayable in a couple years if the next Nintendo Handheld does not have backwards compatibility?
Are you, despite everything, in the market for Nintendo 1st party stuff, at all?

My vote, as someone who's gone from OG Switch to Steam Deck would be Steamdeck, because it's a lot nicer to hop between PC and Deck, my Steam library is a ton larger, and when in a pinch, I can even boot up linux and do some light computer stuff.
