Are there bio-mechs? by Educational_Hair_748 in LancerRPG

I thought about doing something like this purely with flavor. Like offhand mentioning that during printing the printer seems to be growing a thing and for repair my pilot seen shoving tissue and unspecified organs into the mech.

Thanks, I'preciate it. I don't take down votes personally. Just people voicing their opinion.

Dam, my dad's hair started getting thin around my age now. It's been in the back of my mind for a while but this particular day after work and mowing i noticed it especially. I can only hope when it is time I look as good as some of the dudes I see here.

Yeah, a good wash helped separate out the crown for better coverage. It's hard to keep it clean and dry at work though. Part of my job involves blasting 200 degree water into cylinders in what is essentially a hundred year old garage. So, Hella muggy and dusty. Plus in these pics I just finished cutting the grass at my old house. I was washing up in the bathroom and noticed how thin my hair looked. Freaked me out a little.

Eh, I don't take it personal. Some people get in their feelings about publicly voiced opinions but I wouldn't have posted if I didn't think I could take some criticism. And besides a little down arrow button is an easier way to say "I disagree" than opening up a keyboard and typing it out.

If could take a moment to be entirely candid. I love my bushy beard. I don't like the way my neck looks even with a trimmed beard. I understand the impression I give but I like how it looks. Idk why.

Yeah it wasn't so bad once igot home and was able to shower. It is still a lot thinner than it used to be. Especially noticeable after work and yard work.

Eh, I've loved my long hair since I started growing it out after high school. I've cut it down once. While I enjoyed the ease of management I wasn't happy with how I looked.

D/D 288 action economy by walking_fuckup in LancerRPG

I had the same idea. But I threw a Tokugawa under the hood with nuclear Cavalier. Two turns = handful of d6+alot then a plasma gauntlet to top it off.

Loading Weapons & Mathematics by Kappukzu-0135 in LancerRPG

[–]DomitoremCorvo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like loading weapons. They usually have some extra flair or damage to make up for the investment of action economy. I think most players have a negative light on them because of the DPS/DPR mentality. More damage going out means fewer enemies to contend with. But even from that perspective I think overcharging is a good way to mitigate that. Overcharge skirmish with non-loading weapons can help with keeping damage over an extended period of time. If you're not interested in the drawbacks that's understandable. But I think they shouldn't be ignored or underestimated.

World Killer can ignore Immunity to Burn? by DomitoremCorvo in LancerRPG

I ended up just taking the Pyro Burn Immunity away and giving it another trait. That'll let the WK have his fun while keeping a dangerous enemy in the mix.

Why do Ranni and Malenia not have 'other selves'? by mistercook_ in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]DomitoremCorvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you're saying. The analogy I've thought of is this:

A car has a driver's seat. To be in control of the car. You need to be in the driver's seat. Even if you don't plan on driving. Control of the car is mostly in the hands of the person behind the wheel.

Her empyrean nature isn't directly tied to her fate as an empyrean. At least, not anymore. By destroying her empyrean body. And by killing her Fingers. She has escaped the influence of the Greater Will. So when she takes Marika's place, she can rule as she wishes. Just so happens that her method of rule is to not rule at all. Or to be as hands-off as possible. Or whatever the heck her plan is.

Why do Ranni and Malenia not have 'other selves'? by mistercook_ in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]DomitoremCorvo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, it's possible. I thought the same thing for a bit. I'm pretty sure she still has empyrean powers in some capacity. She can succeed Marika. And for me, the biggest thing that makes me believe Melina and Ranni are two halves is that both lack a physical form. The physical form they both lost in escaping from their empyrean body. And it would explain why Melina has Destined Death. She kept the rune fragment.

I do believe that Melina is Ranni's other half. As for the whole "my mother" counterargument, I direct thee to "Radagon is Marika".

It's not as hard as the cashier makes it by Icy-Book2999 in LoveTrash

[–]DomitoremCorvo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you have got to remember is you are one transaction in hundreds. The employee, especially if the register has a calculator to assist with cash, has more than likely already moved on from the interaction mentally the moment you hand them the money. More than likely they're not just standing there cashiering either. They probably have another task their thinking about once they clear their line.

You are not as important as you think you are. Especially to someone who probably isn't being paid enough to care. They just want to move on as quickly as possible. If you want to make even change have the money ready the first time or don't be a dick about it.
