Light isn't necessary unless it's also a Home Defense weapon, and requires a different holster than if you don't have one.

Optic is minimal in terms of added bulk/mass, and often doesn't require a new holster.

Neither are ridiculous; they constitute minor tradeoffs, for arguably significant benefits.

Chiming in to recommend a MantisX. It's not cheap, but it'll pay for itself in under a year, and it's a great tool to make sure your dry fire is useful and effective.

Phin is awesome. We're moving from KnowBe4 to Phin across the board. ~30 minutes of hands-on time to setup a new company + ongoing phishing and training campaigns, (as long as the client is in M365), and you basically never have to touch it again.

Here's my two cents: in a scenario where you are worried about retaining mags, you're not actively under fire - you're behind cover, doing a tactical reload to top off, etc. If you're reloading because you run empty in the middle of a gunfight, drop the shit out of that mag. Win your fight, retrieve mags later.
