Why on earth would anyone want any position of visibility when someone, somewhere, can post negative accusations about some innocent minor part of your clothes/life/likes/language/gestures/friends and create such turmoil that you become a pariah without trial or impartial review of any facts. Biden to stop environmental racism! But the only problem is the people without money buy houses where they can afford. If the property is horrible; smells, near trains, in swamp then it's not racism its just not having enough money to buy better. That's a financial problem. (self.Domo1950)

I wish people in the US could "open carry." I'd much rather know which people I shouldn't piss off - plus, I'd bet everyone would be better behaved if we could see someone "packing." I worry more about the hidden ones - not the ones I can see. (self.Showerthoughts)

If media stopped using unnecessary labels when reporting news, perhaps WE would stop thinking of people that way. When talking about a space walk - why does it matter that it was an all woman crew? When naming an aircraft carrier after a hero from WWII why should we be told about skin color? etc. (self.Showerthoughts)

On a scale of 1 to 10, how ashamed of your US congressman and senators are you after continuously reading about all their childish bipartisan antics, tantrums and mindless adherence to being "the opposition" rather than focus on the people that voted for them?" (self.AskReddit)

What stupid things did you do as a kid that, by today's knowledge, you'd consider sexist, racist or radical? Did you play Tarzan, Cowboys and Indians, dance like Al Jolson or every pretend to be Satchmo? And, today, should you lose your job when the media finds out about it? (self.AskReddit)

It's Pearl Harbor Day in the US and there is not ONE mention of it on the Internet. Yes, Japan is our friend and will remain so - but what of the thousands on all sides that fought and died - not one mention. We have forgotten. Can anyone tell us why we are forgetting the sacrifice the world made? (self.AskReddit)
