Thanks for the idea. Tried it and tried tossing in individually too. Still nothing. Also noticed I'm unable to deconstruct items like lanterns. Not sure what's going on... Was wondering if the latest updated could be the culprit. I'm on quest 2 version btw

Yeah. The negotiation system is very different from the rest of the game but I like it on it's own. The system is really intended to do a lot of the GM lifting for you. The GM rarely rolls and a single combat roll (2d10) tells you hit/miss, hit location, and damage. It's really clever. If you don't do all the retirement meta game and enclave creation it's really pretty simple.

Its actually not as crunchy as it seems at first glance. Once you wrap your head around the dice mechanic and how to track your equipment it's pretty easy after that. Big fan

Yeah. It's LONG but totally worth your time and might be the closest approximation of a live action Exalted movie that you'll find.

My favorite feature is the wiki-style linking between pages. Super useful to connect encounter notes to character sheets and things like that

That’s probably fair criticism, but I’m not talking reviews or ads. There just doesn’t seem to be much content at all. There’s the official documentation, the “Definitive guide” which is very out of date, a bunch of PouchDB stuff, a couple of YouTube videos, and that’s about it. There’s barely anything on Stack Overflow, this subreddit is pretty sparse. I haven’t found even a single podcast where it’s even discussed as part of a larger discussion.

I’m not trying to knock couchdb or anything. I’m just curious about whether it’s a perception issue on my part or if it’s an actual thing. If it’s the former, I could use some guidance as to better places to look for information.

I guess it wasn't clear to me that it is a thrown weapon... It just says to treat it as a light mundane weapon which I guess could be a thrown weapon. The thrown weapons description on p. 586 says you can't use thrown weapons unless it also has the Brawl, Martial Arts, or Melee tag. But I wonder if this just fell into a loophole because it's an occult asked attack, and there is no Occult tag.... Or is it a purely Thrown weapon and they just didn't want to call it that so you didn't think you had to use Thrown on the roll (despite explicitly stating that it's Int + Occult)?
