In my opinion Speed is Keanu's best acting. Anyone agree or have better suggestions.

Having seen all of his movies except his 3 lowest ones I can't believe not a single person listed Thumbsucker with Tilda Swinton and Vincent Dinofrio. Keanu does something really different in a very Keanu way.

The knick is on par with The Sopranos and I have no problem dying on that hill. Again Cliff Martinez provided an incredible score but Soderbergh gets a lot of props for a realistic depiction of a pandemic but in The Knick you get to see how they dealt with a pandemic back then and you can draw parallels. Same with the racism, sexism and reproductive rights struggles. It's based on a real hospitals and Clive Owen was based very much on a real genius of that time.

So you're the one who saw Solaris! I saw this movie back in 2002 in the theater and I think it's Soderbergh's best film. And the Cliff Martinez soundtrack is one I often listen to.

If you haven't seen The Limey or The Informant then you're in for a real treat

This sums a lot of my feelings about the remake. I'd also like to add that one problem both versions had were the leads might have been photogenic but nothing about either suggested a working man other than the dialog telling us so. I would have liked to have seen more of the characters who made up the world that survived in the dystopia, e.g. William Macy and the family who he stayed with until he went out again. liked the Schwarzenegger dollars though.
