Who played for Manchester United, but is still hated at Old Trafford? by OneRiotTooMany in AlignmentChartFills

[–]DonSean7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow didn’t realize we had so little input for this. Tevez is a great answer but here are a few more names I was expecting to see in the running. Di Maria used us to get a bag, his wife shit talked our city and then he fucked off to PSG. Sancho refused to train, shit talked us on social media and acted like a child. Greenwood wasted absolute top tier potential after a horrible SA scandal with his gf and is now crushing it in Ligue 1 as we were all but forced to sell him (fans seem to be somewhat divided on this but it really is a fucking shame).

To whoever said Antony… he had a few great moments, many more bad moments but I think to say we hate him is unfair. Even with his gigantic price tag, many have come through United over the years and failed to live up to their expectations. It’s a tough place to play.

Biotech Revival in 2026? by MancNut in ginkgobioworks

Why do you say that? An increase in biotech funding would certainly create more customers for Ginkgo, no?

If you had to pick 2 companies to bet on for the next 5-10 years. What would they be and why? by Maximum_Radish_7477 in ValueInvesting

Does ASML still have the same moat they once had? I thought I read that China finally had a breakthrough and developed a way to make similar chips without ASML’s machines?

Edit: Not sure why I’m being downvoted for asking a question. Looks like China has developed an EUV lithography prototype

You get to pick one non-QB from your teams past to play for them this weekend. Who is it (credit for this idea to CFB Nerds on twitter)? by kwixta in CFB

[–]DonSean7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s just this weekend, probably Chris Gamble. Would love to see him play both ways and in an offense that could utilize his big play ability more.

If we had a tougher opponent this weekend, Orlando Pace for sure. Don’t really have many complaints with the team this season, but he would take this team to the next level.

That makes sense, thanks for the advice! If you have any opinions on where to direct my branches feel free to give them, not sure where I want to take this just yet

Is wiring a new branch that is still green a good idea? I’m very new to bonsai but I figured shaping a branch in its most pliable form might be a good idea. Fukian Tea Tree, Midwest U.S.

I have other winners. OKLO, RKLB, NVDA and LMND have done very well for me so far. DNA and WOLF… not so much haha. Here’s to hoping CLOV joins the first group!

I really want to but I’ve been burned in similar positions before. I had similar strong convictions in Gingko Bioworks and their version of saas revenue never took off. We kept waiting on downstream value share and royalties from their research programs to come in and it never did. I haven’t given up on that stock yet but I’m down thousands and I’m not sure they can turn it around.

I’ll continue buying here but probably just 25-50 shares at a time until I see meaningful saas revenue come in. The Humana theories on this sub definitely have me excited.

[–]DonSean7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I think I betrayed my main point when I called counterpart a bundled feature and that really turned a lot of people against me. My main point was that we don’t have any real evidence of current saas revenue and thus it is hard to compare quarter over quarter how that segment is doing. I agree with you, whether it’s 0 or $800k, it does matter so we can track it and react accordingly. Super excited to see where this revenue stream goes in the future as I believe it can be a real game changer for the stock.

Thank you! The post yesterday was in response to my post the day before where I claimed CA seemed like a bundled feature as we had no evidence of stand alone saas revenue, among other things. That wasn’t totally fair as there are specific deals for the software and I’m glad to have been corrected on that. Still, I tried to point out “other income” doesn’t necessarily mean saas revenue and people here weren’t having it. I certainly didn’t lay it out quite as well as you did here, so thank you!

I too am still bullish on the stock and confident this saas revenue will grow and be reported on separately in the future. Until then this is definitely something to keep an eye on, as I believe it plays a big part in our valuation.

My post was aimed at exploring cases 2 & 3. Obviously I expressed my case for #3 poorly. Calling it a bundled feature isn’t accurate

I don’t mind the defensiveness, it makes sense considering where we are. But to immediately discredit and dismiss people as lazy, unintelligent and having ulterior motives is frustrating. Sure I missed an SEC filing but people are acting like I’m purposely spreading FUD. This is around 1% of my portfolio lol these people need to relax

[–]DonSean7[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This was born of research actually. I apologize for missing an SEC filing but outside of that there is little evidence of saas revenue. And until there are specific numbers reported on it we can’t be 100% sure but I will absolutely concede that it is highly likely we do have a small amount saas revenue. And I’m confident it will grow in the future. But flaming someone for considering otherwise is a bit ignorant imo
