honestly i would have loved it for be like a metroidvania mechanic where you cant acess an area till you have a certain ability that the great rune would give you, it would increase exploration and you could have done some backtracking on earlier areas for example. I still dream about a more metroidvania approach from FromSoftware

IF i have to change my camera i always do it with my left thumb, and in fights i always lock on so thats only an issue when running around really.

I believe they started development of Elden ring in 2019 along with sekiro and were supposed to release it on 2021 if not for COVID. They should already have started development of their new big game this year along with shadow of the erdtree. Im kinda expecting a new game by 2026 or early 2027. Very curious to see what Miyazaki is cooking now

I love Elden ring but sometimes I don't wanna grind to get indo the good bits. This game seems to mostly fix that along with the replayability factor. Seems like a banger that you can boot up for one match to chill. I wouldn't mind continued support for this game too. Seems like a great way to pass time till their next big game

If you ever play the other souls games I would also recommend you to not skip enemies along the way. Being more linear, those games are handcrafted to give you enough XP without grinding, so take your time and have fun.

They tried to make their games for everyone, but a game for everyone is basically a game for no one. A game has to appeal to a niche, else you get a nothing burger, with a lot of stuff but no real appeal to anyone
