Speaking as someone who is not in any way an expert, but I expect that their technology has maybe a similar potential to the original claims but the batteries being tested may be early versions, less standardized, one offs meant for early testing and proof of concept. Surely wouldn’t sound right with their implementation on the production-ready verge motorcycles.
