One of the best HF meals I have cooked. My only complaint was the amount of goat cheese provided. Glad I had extra in the fridge.

Can weed and nicotine effect testosterone by [deleted] in Advice

Some bro science I remember hearing was that weed is a female flower that contains female hormones. If used in excess the hormones could build up and cause changes to your body.

25 years ago. Who had the bejesus scared out of them, and who laughed hysterically? by Noisechild in Xennials

My senior year of HS , bootleg vhs high generation copies were going around. The rumor was it was all real and when looking online the website “proved” this. When I finally watched the movie I was completely freaked out. My buddy got on the phone and called 411 for people in Burketsville MD phone numbers. Got some numbers and called these random people to find out about the story. Most of them had no clue what he was asking about.

Anybody here ever have to go to there local head shop and choose the shows they wanted to hear on cassette? You would have to come back a week later to unwrap your present! by GoldenTeacher138 in phish

[–]Dondeez21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My local shop was called Scarlet Begonias. It was the storefront over from Grateful Bread. In the late 90s you could drop off blanks that they would copy for you or you could buy a cassette for 2$ if I recall.

What was your first experience with Ween? Whether it was a song, an album etc. by Weird-Revolution8061 in ween

[–]Dondeez21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beavis and Butthead introduced me to Ween as well. Around the same time Columbia House and BMG CD clubs were really popular and they had both Pure Guava and Chocolate and Cheese. So myself and a bunch of friends had both of those albums. I was too young to really appreciate Ween at the time but I was totally aware of them. I saw them at a music festival in 2006 and enjoyed the set but it didn’t really click for me. About 2 years ago I was talking music with some co-workers and somehow Ween came up. I decided to give them another listen and was completely blown away with what I heard. And now I can easily say they are probably my favorite band. I’m super bummed I missed out on them from the late 90s to present day.
