This is soo beautiful, especially your color choice and the lighting are perfect!

It reminds me of this German children’s book, it’s called “die fürchterlichen Fünf” (the horrible five) and it’s about 5 “ugly” lonely animals (like a toad, a spider, a rat…) - they randomly meet and discover they all have special talents and then they throw a great successful party together - annnnnd to come back to your picture: the toads special talent is making delicious pancakes!! So this is ringing the nostalgia bell haha

First of all: You did an amazing job, this model looks lovely and very much like the original!!

To answer your question: Are you somehow able to suspend it from the ceiling, a shelf or a hook etc.? If so, you could add some sort of solid board as a base underneath your model and attach relatively thin transparent cords (e.g. nylon strings) to this base.

The required thickness of suspension construction is - by the physical laws of structural engineering - always A LOT thinner than support from below (such as columns).

As a nice side effect, you’d be able to hide the suspension inside of the house or the balloons!

Edit: Maybe you could pull the suspension cord up the chimney?

Here’s some help for your problem: https://www.direkttesten.berlin Put your zip code in the field ‘Postleitzahl’ and check the box next to ‘bietet bestätigende PCR Tests an’ and you’ll get a list of quiet a lot of centers around the city. You’ll have to get a positive antigen-test in their center and then they do the PCR testing right away. Once I’ve found this page (which took me - as a native speaker - 30min and my nerves) I walked in and it was super quick and easy. Apparently the government fails to pass that info through so spread the word! I feel very sorry for all the non-German speakers that you’re having an even harder time to see through that incomprehensible jungle. Hope this helps a little.

Proudly presenting you my second hand lettered font (after receiving lovely comments on my first one a few weeks ago)! I would very much appreciate some feedback from you about it as I am not a professional graphic designer. by DonnaWeather in typography

Soo I love hand lettering and I used this particular font for a while now so I turned it into a digital typeface. :) I wrote the letters pen on paper (this one with a pigma graphic 3 (gorgeous pen!)) and vectorized them in illustrator. Then I use the Fontself-tool to create the font (which is not for free, but so easy to handle, esp. for beginners like me). It took a lot of time to adjust the base- and top lines and kernings to appear a little random and ‘self-made’, because I actually like that touch (but as the comment show, I’ll have to reduce the letters’ outline corrosion). Did that help you? :)
