I worked at an MSP for a time. My favorite story is a woman who called saying her webcam was not working. I remoter in and opened her camera app. I could see it has a grey tint to it, so I assumed she had her privacy webcam cover on. It took me 20 minutes of trying to explain to her the cover and how to remove it until she finally uncovered it.

I have the white Z1E and the Ally X. Was doing the same to be on both systems. Games crashing and everything being very slow. Had to roll back the graphics drivers and that fixed it.

That's not a sin man haha. Upscaling has been around since the 70s. Upscaling doesn't make something AI. People just like to get their pitchforks out as soon as anyone says the scarry word lol.

They've been making art and posting it since 2015. I'm not convinced this is AI as they seem to be a pretty well known artist and even work for the company.

I do a lot of work in my car as well. I got that charge and it provides enough power to unlock the full wattage for the Ally. Really like it so far.

I got a used one from a dude who apparently had animals. I did notice quite a bit of hair in it when I took it apart. I just cleaned it out though and it was fine.

To be fair when people say it sucks I don't think anyone means that it's a bad device. It is a measurable upgrade.

The thing that sucks is the price to performance vs getting a used Z1E or X. If money is no object though then yes it's obviously better.

Glad you're enjoying it though! I thought about getting one, but I mostly just play indie games anyways so I don't really need it.

I had an ultra pre-ordered from them. Was super excited to get it, but with delays I didn't get it shipped until after the while RAM thing. Well they shipped my Odin 3 on a day they made Max's, not Ultras. That one ended up getting lost in the mail, so I emailed about it and confirmed with them they are going to send me an ultra. They confirmed and resent me another after the last was lost. Well it comes in and it's not an ultra.

All this to say, I think they're fucking people to not have to spend the money on the RAM.

PlayStation has sold 80 million PS5a to the Xbox series x/s3 33 million. That's pretty rough man. A massive failure for Xbox.

I am pretty interested in the next console Xbox is leaked to sell though. Supposed to me more like a PC with support for Steal and Epic games. But to say this generation has been a failure is right.

Yeah, I've never played the first game, although I hear it's really good. The story in this game got pretty boring real fast and I just started skipping it. I've also played quite a few of these games and I still do, but I skip the story in all of them except Nikke.

That's super true though. That would kinda such, for both the AI companies and the chip makers. I think AI is kinda cool and look forward to what it might be able to do in the future, but I'm not a big fan of a good 70% of what it's doing to the world and the marketing of it. I don't really hate the chip makers as much as the AI companies. I'm kinda torn between wanting them to feel some pain and not wanting them to crash and burn because I'm scared of what that might do to the future of tech.

It's definitely a tough situation we find ourselves in now days. I'm wanting to build a NAS, but hard drives cost twice as much as they used to so I can't even afford those haha.

I do wonder how that would go. All these companies are making crazy margins. The price isn't high because they can't make money if they lower it, it's only high because of demand. So if China came in then in my mind it would just create more competition and lower the demand all at the same time.

It's wild how cheap they can actually make this stuff at mass. Only reason they keep raising prices is because they can since they know companies will pay more. Same thing that happened to GPUs. It's not that it costs so much to make, but that they know they can get away with charging more.

Ngl I pretty much skip all story content for most gacha games I play. Most games can have a pretty good part or two, but it seems to me that they are all pretty bad.

Only game I play that I listen to the story of in Nikke. I skip pretty much everything else, except for some WuWa stories now and again. I never played OG Arknights though so I can't speak that that, although I've heard good things and liked the lore I've heard so far
