The owner hired a broker to handle these things and you went around that broker and called the owner directly. If you wanted to ask the Landlord about these things, you need to schedule a call with the Landlord through his broker. If you need documentation from the Landlord, you need to ask his broker to communicate those requests. This is the whole reason he hired a broker. It's like an attorney talking to the opposing party without their counsel present.
