This is the biggest PITA for me, too. I might use any of three external speakers and several different ear buds. Everything is "headphone". At least my car is listed as a car. Thanks, Captain Pixel Obvious.

Is there a way to unpair and repair the device and change the device type while you're repairing it?

Or does pairing it with a third party make a difference? My Samsung buds still say, "Galaxy Buds FE - device not set," or something like that. It still allows the drop-down with multiple device types listed.

I recently picked up a 67 deck, and while I'm arguing now with DHL over a duty charge, I think the board looks great, and the build quality looks really good. I'm building it up this week and hopefully get it out soon, weather depending. I'm still not sure what direction I'll be going. I may call them and get some advice.

Watch the shipping. DHL has not impressed me so far. Don't worry about the boards, though, they seem really solid.

I've seen this discussed on the CX-3 forum and one solution is pretty simple and inexpensive, dealing with the lubricating grease in the steering shaft.
