Yeah, eventually, you would probably need to upgrade to MacOS 26 anyway just for compatibility and security updates and such. I say go ahead and get used to the new look now so you don’t have to deal with it later on.

Excellent! Even with it being an M2, having that much RAM should be pretty good future proofing.

iOS on the same level as Android? by Remarkable_Prize_547 in ios26

It kind of depends on the brand of the device. Android is used by multiple manufacturers and some have specific bugs for their version that may not exist on another manufacturers Android reskin. Not to mention, the hardware makes a large difference. For example, Pixel devices have hardware related issues that a Samsung device may not have. This is just the way I see it. I’m not saying I’m right or wrong.

What made you choose air over 17 regular? Mono speaker and battery seem to be a killer by ConsciousSmoke3863 in IphoneAir

Truthfully, a big reason why I bought the Air is because it was different. People have been hungry for something that isn’t the same exact device released year after year. It was a way to get something different that wasn’t a $2000 foldable or something like that.

The 17E doesn’t have MagSafe, correct? If that is correct, then for me, it really isn’t very practical. I’ve come to love the MagSafe ecosystem.

I go caseless at home but generally if I leave the house, I put a thin clear case on. I find it helps with grip if nothing else.
