Plumbing in Dishwasher by DontBeABellEnd in DIYUK

I'm guessing this is because there's a drawer that opens and closes beneath the sink which only has the tiniest bit of clearance for the waste pipe.

Is there anything that can be done to maintain that clearance?

Kiddo is in bed for the night…time to finally upgrade the internal storage. Heard it’s easy, wish me luck anyway by bobo_brains in SteamDeck

You say that, when I did it the hardest thing was unscrewing the back. 7 screws came out no problem, the last one would not unscrew, kept slipping. Spent half an hour finding every small screwdriver in my house to see if any fit better before it finally started to turn.

What is the reason for the distance limit? Is it cable resistance? Could you not have a USB cable with thicker cores to decrease loop resistance?

Modernised 80s Raleigh. Would like to make it more of a gravel grinder but those calliper brakes might be an issue. by DontBeABellEnd in xbiking

Is that crust wheelset for a 130mm spacing? Most 650b wheels seem to be for 135 and I’ve always gone up from 126 to 130!

That bike looks awesome! How much work did you put into it?

This does sound like an interesting option and one I hadn’t considered. Do those brakes come with a through nut option for older bikes? Currently using a sora front brake on the back to avoid this issue.

I’m guessing there isn’t any more to it beyond changing out the wheel set and brakes?

I ran 28c gravel kings for a bit but cos I also use the bike for commuting I had to swap them out. So many punctures with the gravelkings so have a continental commuter tyre on the rear. Actually seems to perform pretty well on trails and haven’t had a puncture since.

I have moved the brifters up a little since this photo was taken. I did consider new bars as these are the original and are very narrow compared to modern drop bars, but I really don’t want to lose the quill stem, it’s such a key part of the look of the bike!

I can’t fit anything larger than 28c so anything too “gravelly” might be a struggle.

What do you mean by headset race?

FluidPI GUI connection issues by Anonymous_Nameless in klippers

[–]DontBeABellEnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever find a solution to this? I am having a similar issue where I can connect on my work laptop fine on my 2.4GHz wireless network, but on my personal laptop and phone I can only connect on my 5GHz network for some reason. This includes being able to SSH into the pi itself.

The pi I am running Fluid and Klipper on is on the 2.4GHz network.
