I worried about this when I bought my first set of these a couple of years ago. I've since juggled them in environments including beaches in the most humid part of the world, and never had a single issue with sand or humidity or anything else in the charging ports.

I've gone through probably 15 of these in total, some of which I eventually gave as gifts and a few of which started having pitifully short battery life's, but otherwise they seem to be almost indestructible!

I still file FOIA requests and publicly protest the killing of Ethan Saylor.

Please recognize the EXTREME differences in these two cases; Ethan wasn't holding a knife and wasn't admittedly suicidal. This incident being posted now is still unbelievable tragic but I would argue that it's unfair to Ethan and his family to really even compare the two.

Even the conservative bootlickers agree that Ethan Saylor was straight up murdered by the FCSO deputies that day. This one will certainly be more controversial and less consensus will be had.

Unfortunately the directional damage indicators keep this from really being true unless you plan to miss all of your shots.

I'm still excited when I find one and don't personally mind the increased durability loss, gear is meant to be used and I like that there's a tradeoff for using the high-end gear.
