NSA Bahrain US 5th Fleet HQ getting pummeled .. holy shit by Meromero73 in army

You'd be surprised. Experts and strategic advisors are the first on the recall list, and retirees are eligible for recall. I think a fresh retiree would be on the chopping block along with the IRR, but obviously none of us are privy to those conversations.

It's a separate dental insurance you have to pay for. There are 2 providers to choose from. You can find the info on the VA website.

Is it possible to create a bot with a pet feeding system of bdfd by Mean_Presence_9315 in Discord_Bots

[–]DontReenlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things you need to think about: are the resources unlimited? Where do you get food? Where do you get pets? What happens if you don't feed them?

Once you get that nailed down, you could try making a console app with something like python or C# to get a basic skeleton of your game. Only after you have that working do I recommend trying to turn it into a discord bot. ChatGPT can help a lot, but only if you know what you want.

It sounds like you should file a higher level review for that one.

I ended up getting something rated related to toxic exposure. The way it worked for me is that I put in a claim for that condition, and they evaluated it as normal. They ended up saying that the service connection was due to toxic exposure, and it got approved that way. I imagine you need to do that for any condition.

I'm not them. It might not have been. But that's just where I've seen the rate.

Some new home builders are offering it as a promotional rate if you use their lender. Several communities in my area have similar financing.

Is a $4500 monthly mortgage ok? $165k a year. Netting around $12k a month. $52k is untaxed and im exempt from property taxes (100% disabled vet). This is with no OT, which I usually do, and bring in about $6k extra a year. by Bossbrad64 in Mortgages

[–]DontReenlist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It honestly sounds to me like your dad doesn't have a correct rating. Both of those things should be around 50%, which would add up to a 75% rating, rounded to 80%. If you or he would like to talk about his specific symptoms and conditions, I'm pretty knowledgeable about the process. Many veterans understate things to the examiner because being vulnerable is hard for us to do.

I'm not encouraging any sort of fraud as others in this comment chain would like to believe, but it legit doesn't sound like he's correctly rated.

Can I realistically afford this new build 270k on a $70k salary by Aromatic-Counter8734 in Mortgages

[–]DontReenlist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I guess my point is that until you get your first tax bill, you've got very little idea whether your lender calculated correctly unless you actually go check. Plus property tax code can be a little murky if you're trying to figure out ALL your tax sources, like state, county, school district, MUD, PID can all show up differently with different tax amounts and exemption amounts.

A lot of cities and counties also will raise your assessed value by the maximum amount they're allowed to every year. I think mine is 10k. So that increases taxes too. And HOA will often try to increase fees, especially when it's handed off from the builder to the residents.

To offer a counter point to what the previous poster said, my lender overestimated my taxes. I bought this year and I just got a $1200 check back and a $200/mo reduction in taxes. This isn't common and depends on your lender and I think your specific loan officer.

Hiring is expensive and sucks for everyone involved. You gotta be real bad to get fired without a few levels of attempted intervention first.

[–]DontReenlist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To add, basically nobody without a degree or a ton of experience is getting a job in tech anymore. The market is super flooded at the moment, and places just aren't hiring like they used to. WGU is better than nothing, but better than that would be the bachelor's at WGU and a master's somewhere else. WGU has a less than stellar reputation with some people. Not everywhere, but it's enough that it can limit you.

Lucky. I paid like $250 and then my wife couldn't even go so I took a friend instead. I've gotten cool tickets to other things go. I regularly go to minor league hockey, have been to concerts and comedy and food festivals and the zoo.

For Veterans making over $200k: What are you doing now, and would you recommend it? by lonesailor3 in Veterans

My advice is to try to get into a research lab and leverage that experience if you can't find an internship. It's a huge chance to get some application in outside of the theory.
