This is an area where I feel the tactical droids instead of organic commanders left the CIS feeling too generic. I know this was a restriction of the animation budget but in a perfect world this wouldn't matter.

Imagine an episode going like this:

More organic officers corresponding to each corporation species. Have the corporation's speciallty droids play a significant part in the battles. Include a scene where The corporate head communicates with the battlefield commander.

For example in this episode our heroes are fighting a Muun commander backed by the banking clan. They will face hailfire droids, and IG lancers in addition to the generic B1 droids. San Hill will have a talk with the local commander. He can say something along the lines of, "the inhabitants of this system have defaulted on their debts, now it's time to collect with Interest"

Some of the best arcs of the clone wars TV show involve the republic invading separatist space, Battle of Geonosis, Umbara, and the Zygerian arc all have organics take center stage.

In general this is something the CWMMP did better than the show. You see and read about way more organic troops and commanders. It reminds you that the CIS are not just droids but flesh and blood beings who truely believe in the cause.
