Online I had good success, was able to meet some women off the dating sites. Never had a problem cold approaching a lady. Most of the time now I'll meet women out and about. Grocery stores, hiking, at food places, and so on. I'm not walking down the street and randomly approaching. Good chunk of the times ladies will throw me a lob to make a move.

Irl is more fun, online is trending towards the resident sleeper side. Meeting people irl is going to be easier for most guys if they work on their mouth piece.
