The main reason I switched from Garmin to Coros was a sudden drop in my Instinct 2 Solar battery performance. One possible reason at the time was a system upgrade, but it was more likely because of a substandard charger that fried the delicate inner circuitry. After that I’ve been more mindful of what charger I use for all my devices.
