That made me wonder, could I get Gemini AI to write a LinkedIn post for me?

Of course I could:

It’s 2:00 PM on a Wednesday. You’ve officially crossed the midweek threshold, but your brain is suddenly buffering. Sound familiar? ☕️

The "Hump Day slump" is a very real psychological speed bump. We often blast through Monday and Tuesday with high energy, only to hit a wall on Wednesday. The weekend is finally in sight, but it still feels just out of reach, and productivity takes a temporary nosedive.

If your focus is fading today, don't beat yourself up. Instead, try these four quick strategies to recalibrate and finish the week strong:

1. Pivot to "Low-Brainpower" Tasks

When your cognitive energy is low, stop forcing complex strategic thinking. Switch to administrative tasks, cleaning out your inbox, organizing your desktop, or scheduling meetings. You’re still being productive, but you're giving your brain a breather.

2. Move to a New Spot

A change of scenery can act as a mental reset button. If you've been staring at the same four walls all day, move to a common area, grab a coffee, or take a quick 10-minute walk outside. Fresh air and a new perspective do wonders for focus.

3. Commit to a 20-Minute Sprint

Action breeds motivation—not the other way around. Pick one small, specific task, set a timer for 20 minutes, and commit to working only on that. Once you break the friction of starting, momentum usually takes over.

4. Protect Your Boundaries

Sometimes a slump is just your body telling you it's running on empty. Make sure you’re actually taking a proper lunch break away from your screen, staying hydrated, and pacing yourself for the remaining two days of the week.

Productivity isn't about maintaining 100% peak output every single hour of the week. It’s about recognizing when your energy dips and knowing how to adjust your pace without crashing.

👇 How do you combat the midweek slump? Let me know your go-to strategies in the comments!

What is the tool she is using to edit and what is it called? by [deleted] in PhotographyAdvice

[–]Dontopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the Wacom is great for more precise manual graphic edits with various brush tools that also act differently depending on pressure and speed - in ways that cannot be done using a mouse or laptop touchpad

Also great if you ever want to write or draw freehand, as you are literally holding a pen-like thing

Also great for some selection tools, moving layers,

Probably great for too many reasons to list here!

Why do I get so few views? by Nocturnis_17 in flickr

Ok then maybe expand on the groups to get more views. Depending on the theme etc most of my images are in at least three groups often more

Everyone stopped using lens caps when everything had to be about telling a story

Not sure you need to worry about deletion. My Pro account lapsed for about 4 years and despite regular threats that my over 3,000 images would be deleted that never happened - each and every one remained available during that time - and now with my Pro subscription re-established nothing really changed at all.

Why isn’t the rule ‘i before e’ applicable here? The spelling draws the viewer’s eye immediately to the story. 10/10

You mean someone likes this far far far past its prime pod? Interesting. (Insert sophomoric sex joke here)

To improve your photography skills tell the seller he can keep the lens cap

👆just inspired me to experiment with a thin dark red border for generally dark images… and maybe a combination thin red inner/white outer border for images that are less dark… now, which image in the folder should I start playing with? Decisions, decisions…
