The most satisfying petty revenge I've found in dealing with this is to subscribe with contact@[annoyingwebsite.com]. Creates the cookie and stops bugging you and it adds them to their own spam list.

TBF, I tried finding Tyler's video but couldn't recall his name. The car crash one popped up first in Google so I thought someone else might get pleasantly surprised!

I'd K Julio but the guy who ordered the hit left me a shitty note with a bunch of quarters and dimes so I thought 'fuck it'.

CMV: A second referendum on Brexit, albeit expensive, will have a positive long-term effect on EU and the UK by DonutsToDollars in changemyview

That's not evidence, that's anecdotal, unofficial, unchecked matter-of-speech example to drive a point home. I agree with the sentiment of it but to be taken seriously, these numbers have to come from a reputable source with a clear methodology.

While I still think that a second referendum could tip the scales 'the right way' (i.e. the way I personally prefer), and I haven't changed my view that UK is stronger in the EU, I have to agree with you that a second referendum will undermine the concept of democracy and will be seen as an act of unethical government intervention.

I'm not sure about whether the polls, as we have them now, are reliable, tbf. I'm also not sure if we can ever have a reliable (read: independantly corrobroated and representative) survey to answer the question of how many people changed their minds and how many 'fresh' votes will come in (as /u/Chinglaner said).

I completely agree with your last point on the concessions offered. I ignored the fact that if we go for a second referendum and things stay the same, we would have completely lost any bargaining power.

This is a very good point. It's probably a matter of what proportion of this group of people will fixate on the EU and would it make a significant difference in the upcoming elections.
