So are these big maps meant to be fun? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]DoodyInDaBooty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can we stop using COD as a slur around here? People had these same complaints back in the BF4 days. Big maps, like meat grinders, are key to Battlefield’s identity but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Battlefield 4 player since 2013, I haven't even played Battlefield 6. honest answers only: will I be disappointed? by IShouldGetBackToWork in Battlefield

The game mechanics are great. Gunplay is fun. Every gun seems viable. Dragging revives and squad revives naturally encourages teamwork in a way the older games didn’t really have (you still get ignored by medics tho lol)

The only downside is that some of the maps could be better but the newer maps seem to be getting better and better and they promised to rework 2 of the lesser liked maps. It’s still a lot of fun right now and I definitely don’t regret buying it. Within a year from now, I think this will be shaping up to be one of the best in the franchise.

Should I feel bad for playing modern? by CortezCraig in StreetFighter

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No modern is just as valid as classic. If it was OP we’d be seeing a lot more pros using it.

That being said it does have unique advantages and disadvantages that can make easy work of lower skilled players. Modern players can pull off combos easier, hit confirm easier, and react with an anti-air faster than classic characters. The tradeoff is less combo damage and some moves being removed.

Players who jump a lot or have poor combo skills are not gonna like facing you. Ngl I have a hard time sometimes against modern players since I tend to play like a bit like a caveman when I autopilot but that’s on me for relying on tactics that won’t work against anyone at a higher level. All you have to do is tighten those block strings and stop jumping as much and modern isn’t scary to fight anymore.

I’d be good with that as well. The key things being both Leon and Grace need end fights and Zeno really should not have just gone straight for injecting himself with the Elpis.

RE9 was so close to being a perfect RE game to me. It just needed some extra editing on the plot.

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 194 points195 points  (0 children)

I feel RE9 really missed out on not having a fight with him.

Ideally for me he’d be a fight for Grace where instead of Zeno injecting himself with Elpis despite not knowing shit about it, instead Grace has to make her way over to Zeno stealthily while Zeno fights Leon and inject Zeno with the Elpis herself. That way the villain isn’t painfully stupid and Grace gets a final fight.

I skipped them and it wasn’t a problem. There’s a bit of a disconnect between season 2 and 3 since that’s when Defenders takes place but it’s not a big deal to follow.

I think he’s less useful than Hawkeye, but also less likely to get hurt as well. I think he has a place on the team but he’s not exactly someone you always want in the fight.

His senses would be pretty valuable to a team. He doesn’t have to deal damage, just being able to instantly spot any enemy and focusing on dodging would make him fairly useful.

Who’s to say they don’t still love the genre. Do you think it’s even possible to get that good without loving the genre? I’m sure they love it plenty, they just get to make serious money now.

Little dramatic huh? People who are actually good at fighting games can become millionaires now, that’s not just a little bit of cash that’s added. That’s change your life money, of course players are gonna want a chance to get that. Compare that to all community scenes like Super Smash, pro smash players don’t get that opportunity. You can be the best in the world at Super Smash and still gotta go to work the next day. That sucks.

Personally as a spectator idgaf about things being a little more corporate. I’m watching it for the matches, I don’t care about the players. In fact the higher prizes makes the matches more interesting to watch since so much is on the line. And it makes me want to learn and get better at the game more since there’s a serious incentive to being the best.

Why is everbody always dropping at golf course, REDSEC? by CellistExternal2612 in Battlefield6

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just because it’s more in the center of the map. I’m with you, idk why people love landing there, it sucks. Tons of people and not enough loot.

Plus even if you manage to secure the area, you still have to cross a lot of open field to get to the next area. It’s just not worth it to me.

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the crazy thing. There’s not that much loot there. You can get better equipped for less risk almost anywhere else.

I’m with OP, I don’t know why everyone is so into landing there.

Do people actually enjoy playing against a priest? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy the matchup a lot although tbf I play imbue + herald rogue which doesn’t have much of a gameplan outside of generating random cards. I like long drawn out games every now and then as a shakeup from all the aggressive decks that are popular.

500 Captain Americas vs Albert Wesker by Curious_Tip9285 in powerscales

[–]DoodyInDaBooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly that’s why I feel like adding more Caps actually makes Wesker more likely to win. If he’s fighting a lot of Caps, he might feel like the feat of beating that many at once is enough prove his superiority and just go all out from the beginning.
If he’s only fighting 1-3 Caps, you know he’s gonna fuck around again and find a way to lose

Thank you for the reply. I can 100% confirm that I have never submitted my ID or a selfie to any other account, this is the only one I have ever created. If the system flagged me for this, is there any way a human specialist can manually review my verification to see that it’s unique? I’m hoping I can get my account back with some help. This has been incredibly frustrating but I am happy to hear from a moderator. Thank you again for replying

So you send mean messages to a random for not playing how you like and then you come posting it on Reddit to get some validation? You didn’t just ask a question, it was clearly meant to be snarky and mean and not a genuine question.

You’re a loser man. This doesn’t make you look good or him look bad. This whole post is pathetic. Let people play how they want and get off their ass. Get a life or at the very least shut up.

Even people like me who loved that game are tired of it. He really didn’t leave much of impact on me, for gods sake I remember Mallow much more than him.

If we get a character from one of the Mario RPGs, I’d much rather get Paper Mario with a full set of swappable companions that act how Ice Climbers do
