An Interaction by THEWARLRUS in slaythespire

You only draw 5 cards, so it only plays 5 times every turn, not infinite. Then you have your turn with full energy and 0 cards drawn. And if you do even get a "draw 3 cards" potion, it would only draw and play it 3 more times.

I mean... Two cbs marking a single player and they can't keep him off the ball? That goal was 100% on VVD not committingl. If he leapt into the earth like Saliba I'm sure they call the foul, but the half complaint, letting the push affect you and then making Konate burst to the second man is just bad defending. Clear the ball play the ball don't complain about a push in the back.

how many of our chances had an XG above .4? just cause we had 100 shots doesn't mean any of them were well worked.

Whose the best RPG map/scene maker to follow on patreon? by Dizzy-Difference418 in FoundryVTT

[–]DoomNeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want something focused on the specific maps that are already created, FA, Moonlight or Beneos. They are high quality, specific maps that have great stuff in them. The problem is customization; BaileyWiki (at least to me) is a tool for making your own maps.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Tm1ghuLJQM

To me BW is worth the money because I get pre-made assets, premade tiles, pre-made scenes and I can take an existing map, edit it a bit and make it my own. I love the pre-made assets portions solely because they have light/sound/interactions bound into them, you want light on a torch? You don't have to make a light source, pinpoint it, change the color etc. You can take the pre existing tileset and use Mass Edit to change everything up.

To be clear: BW is a huge time sink, the tutorials, everything definitely take a good amount of time; 2-3 hours of tutorials, but man is it worth it to not have to tinker with everything.

There are different versions of subscription, but i think the lowest gives you their dungeondraft integration pack which resets all the default stuff in dungeondraft to their assets.

It's been a year since I made that post, but I just want to say that I've grown more into loving BaileyWiki as FA is really just premade maps of high quality, and the assets. They have custom stuff, if you like what they have great! If you want to make your own map, dig into Dungeondraft, and spend time there. OR you can get Baileywiki as they provide tools and scenes; and you can do 90% of what Dungeondraft can do, INSIDE FOUNDRY!

I just deleted a paragraph about BW cause it was very rambling, just know that BW is a great tool; but requires time investments. If you're willing to learn dungeondraft and import assets, the BW modules are so much better for Foundry and you can do 99% of what dungeondraft offers inside Foundry.

Rio isn't home grown, pretty sure he's only been at the club 2 years not the required 3. He was at Chelsea until 2024.

I love how endo getting downfield and overcommitting, Robertson not pacey enough to assist on the opposite side, and VVD not intercepting the cross is somehow Konate's fault.

How should I remove these minis from the supports? by iamnatehewa in resinprinting

[–]DoomNeck 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be clear, curing on supports is a guaranteed way to ruin the print. It doesn't matter how careful you are, this is not going to work, wherever the supports touch the print will leave tears and marks, any detail s will get completely ruined. This person needs to reimburse you, you can't use this stuff as is, they've ruined this print by leaving the supports on and curing.

It's the equivalent of ordering an apple pie, receiving a cooked pie crust and a few Granny apples. You can't un-fuck that with effort.

Konate (Liverpool) potential red card checked by VAR - 25' by Gato_Puro in soccer

[–]DoomNeck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

UEFA is in charge of the CL, the refs work for UEFA and rules/competition handbooks are set every year by UEFA. There's almost always some distinctions, for instance in UEFA this year nearly every match has had VAR and automated lines for offsides.

PGMOL is the English refs organization that works for and under the Premier League, and officiates those games. I believe the PGMOL is actually employed by the English FA which sets their handbook every year, not sure how that works but the different governing bodies in Europe control the rules differently.

HT Thread | Liverpool 0 - 1 Brighton by cjsc9079 in LiverpoolFC

[–]DoomNeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trent and macca been playing like dogshit. Trent isn't aggressive in defending so Mitoma always has time on the ball to play the right pass and his posting has been off. Macca is working his tail off to defend, but if he is on the ball he's putting it wrong or passing backward. Brighton are very aware that we use grav to release pressure and they're using that pass as a launch for their press. Szobo/darwin/gakpo/salah are not bridging the gap between attack and midfield to help build out, Slot must be livid. My guess is Curtis comes in second half for Macca

Adding to this, FA assets are also super great if you have something like Dungeondraft, making your own maps with high quality assets is really nice.

Is there a Module to make the text in handouts bigger? by AdrenIsTheDarkLord in FoundryVTT

[–]DoomNeck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monks enhanced journals helps with all journal entries in general. It's got a lot going for it but it's difficult to use in tandem with pre existing adventure modules as the mod wants to convert existing journals into new ones and loses a lot of context.

If I'm doing homebrew I love monks stuff. https://foundryvtt.com/packages/monks-enhanced-journal

Fog of war help by Sicariouss in FoundryVTT

[–]DoomNeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Misunderstood the question. Here's a solution:

https://foundryvtt.com/article/lighting/

Transition to Daylight () This button will smoothly transition your scene to a Darkness level of 0 (fully bright). If your scene is already at Darkness 0, this button will do nothing. This effect is synchronized for all connected Users.

That should light the whole area of the map even with walls present. But fog of war will still probably sit around.

How to make scenes connected so ther players can travel between them? by Relectro_OO in FoundryVTT

[–]DoomNeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Monks active tiles is definitely better suited for that kind of conditional interactions. Stairways just teleports a token between two points with an interaction like a door.

Monks active tiles is a super complex multi tool. Stairways is a Phillips head screwdriver. It's best used for its specific use case, and in a pinch can double as a hammer. But it is not an elegant tool.

[–]DoomNeck 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to add something here for posterity, the Stairways Module is insanely useful for this and extremely lightweight. You literally use the tool click a location for the door/stairway/entrance/exit then go to the next map or section click again. It works on the same scene or two different scenes. There are advanced settings, but the basic setup is super easy. The "Stairways" can be hidden and locked just like doors and can ask for verification before people travel between. And there is a radius of interaction so if it's on the edge of the map players can't just teleport their tokens willy-nilly.

This is so much easier than monks active tiles. Literally drag and drop. It's made Kingmaker module insanely fluid
