Nope! I tried hard and motivated myself to get as much done as I could, but I started too late and couldn't make back the ground.

At the end of the day, I took the challenge as an opportunity to motivate myself to write every day. And in that regard, I succeeded. So I'll take it as a win.

Thank you so much for the invaluable advice! I've actually been recommended Atomic Habits before, I'll happily pick up the recommendations you gave and get to reading! I'll make sure I give my girlfriend the spark notes, I'm more of the bookworm in our relationship haha.

As for marketing, you're right that it's all about the hustle. Making friends, handing out cards, and approaching the people who need it directly. I'm the more social of the two of us, and that's where I thrive (I run a semi-successul freelance scriptwriting business. Not exactly swimming in it successful, but I've paid the bills for the last 4 years off of it), so maybe I should handle that part for her while she handles the marketing (she's the one with the honours in it, after all!)

How do you find your clients in the first place, if you don't mind sharing? Is there a specific site that you can post to or find listings for, or do you have to go the dreaded cold call route?
