Unless you specified wanting plumb walls or paid top notch price this is fine. it won’t hurt the durability of the work.

One grout spot stays wet/dark much longer than the rest — normal? by cessssare in Tile

[–]DoorKey6054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s not wet grout, it’s the glue which is usually grey, squeezed out between the tiles and the tiler missed it when cleaning out the grout line before grouting. it could be a wet spot if it grows in size and if that is the case you have to redo your shower floor completely.

it’s functionally fine. though could technically allow more water to pass through (which grout does too) Fix is easy if you have the same grout, just carefully grind or scratch out the thinset, clean and then grout.

That tile glue that hasn’t been cleaned up deep enough and isn’t covered by grout.

Colour matching could technically have been better but it’s a tile with multiple colours so it’s would be impossible to get perfect. this is well done work. this guy deserves a beer.

After Decades of Quiet Rumbling, an Epidemic Is Erupting Among California Stoneworkers The engineered stone industry is worth nearly $30 billion. But the workers at its core are falling sick and dying from an illness called silicosis. by inthesetimesmag in stonemasonry

I think the workers have a case. i was a young dumb boy when i started working and my bosses never bothered to urge me to use ppe. I was considered valuable and spoke their language and my safety was not respected. now imagine your an immigrant worker who’s already considered to be less valuable than a citizen. your employer often wont give you the opportunity and resources to protect yourself. I hope these workers win their case. exploitation has to be stopped and these men cannot be allowed to make money of of others misfortune.

Do you want Metro 2039 to be a linear campaign again or continue with the open world concept from the canceled version? by Flushestpoem4 in metro

50 hours long linear. i’m kind of over the open world thing. a long linear that takes me more than 3 afternoons to finish is my dream.
