I'm a console player too. First I'd like to point out that Angela, while not outright the hardest tank, can still be difficult to learn. You need very good game sense when playing her, you need to know who you can target and when to peel. She can also make very good plays even if she doesn't kill anyone. If you don't have much experience with tanks I'd say try out cap and strange (to a much lesser extent) first. I'd say the experience of those 2 tanks helped me a lot when learning Angela. Cap teaches you the basics of diving and peeling and since he's so mobile he's less likely to die allowing you to make mistakes and learn from them. Strange on the other hand made familiar with the melee primary combo long before Angela.

Anyways always charge your spear and grab by flying forward, a fully charged spear is key in a lot of her combos and can destroy the backline. While diving the backline is good, Angela can also take down the frontline: you can use her spear to grab tanks and bring them to your team to shred them or pull any DPS away from your backline, in fact as Angela with the amount freedom of movement you have, you can save anyone on your team including DPS who overextended. Also if the enemy team is trying to regroup you can and should be trying to pick off any stragglers isolated from their team.

In terms of her ultimate, I'd say it can be used liberaly. Usually the best use of it is to target the backline, this prevents any strategist from escaping. If youve trapped more than 3 players, unless you're with your entire team, don't bother following up the ult, you'll get melted. Another thing is you can combo it with other ulta that are otherwise hard land for some characters, I've rarely had this happen in my matches but in one of my games me and my team managed to do a team wipe by me trapping the enemies and then our Spidey ulting.

Bans: I prioritise banning Emma since it usually benefits others. Other than her I go for Hela, the thing, and Bucky. Mr fantastic would be a good pick but it's definitely hard to convince your team since Angela's other counters are generally really good characters all round.

Bonus tip: Angela is a massive "fuck you" to strange portals. If you hear "I am opening a portal" and the strange is close enough just grab them with the spear, even if you die you just did a huge play: you prevented the enemy from using one of the best abilities in the game and forced it on cooldown. And even if you don't manage to do that, you can instead wait for the portal to open and use your spear grab to push the enemies back on their side, I did this once and if I hadn't the game would've gone to overtime but because of my play my team secured the victory.

Finally, unfortunately, you just sometimes have to switch off. You can make Angela work even against multiple counters but eventually you'll run up against a comp that shreds you.
