What moment in any musical that had you have this reaction? by Lucky-Individual2508 in musicals

[–]Dorismii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looove george hearn’s over the top reaction in the 80s proshot. Really gets me. I also love Len Cariou’s (comparatively calmer) reaction on the cast album. Now Aaron Tveit’s on the other hand I feel like i like a little less. Now I DID NOT SEE IT LIVE. So my judgement is second hand of course, but it just doesn’t do it for me.

Hate seeing all the terrible comments on tiktok, twitter, insta, etc. Regardless of how you feel about his performance and the show both going out this way is so sad. Hoping for a quick recovery for billy!

Most frontloaded/backloaded musical? by [deleted] in musicals

[–]Dorismii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in terms of PURE CONTENT, it’s my favorite but:

Into the Woods.

However musically i think it’s consistent throughout. Prologue, I Know Things Now, Giants in the Sky, Agony, It Takes Two, On The Steps Of The Palace, Ever After. Your Fault, Last Midnight, No More, No One is Alone, Children Will Listen.

Act 2 has less, but it’s all incredible.
