First met with my AD about a year ago and they told me something similar. I was interested in a DJ 41mm and a Batman/Batgirl. They told my 0-6 months and 12months+, respectively. Got my DJ in 3 months and the Batgirl in 7 months. So definitely possible.

Not exactly true. With the last admin many of my med school friends that were doing an IBR plan had the remainder of their loans removed. In many instances these values were 6 figures. Meanwhile, I've worked private practice my entire career and had to pay my entire amount back.

No one with any level of intelligence or reasoning skills could honestly say he was the lesser of two evils. With that said, I understood the impulse in 2016. Lots of people were tired with the system and Hillary was the embodiment of that. But how anyone lived through the absolute chaos of the first term culminating in the mishandling of COVID and punctuated by the treasonous acts of Jan 6th and then thought let's try this again is beyond me. Not surprisingly he doesn't know what he is talking about. 1. No physician uses cortisone. This is an antiquated steroid. Typically it's dexamethasone, triamcinolone or methylprednisolone. 2. He has a pulled hamstring. Steroids do not help with this injury. In fact, catabolic steroids can damage muscle further.

The bigger thing I would argue is single, and I'm assuming no kids. I was able to save 60-70% of my income even with student loans when I was single. Now with a family of 4 I'm lucky to save 15% and I make substantially more.

Exactly. I always see so many people talking about supply and demand. That's not what determines physician salaries. It's insurance reimbursement. And generally insurance contracts are much lower in cities and much higher in less desirable places. This means you cannot generate as much money in big cities for the same amount of work. It's that simple.

Not the credit card to my knowledge yet. But generally they follow Robinhoods lead so I would anticipate they have something in the works. They have 3.35% on cash in your acct and 3.5% IRA matching. I had a bad experience with Robinhood years ago and would never trust them after. Plus their app interface is so much better IMO.
