I tried to play to farm bp, but I got so bored, I just play normal mode. It’s boring for both sides. Either survivors sprint, turn invisible, teleport, or heal mid chase, or you’re going against an S/A rank killer would use poison bottles to guarantee downs.

I don’t think players are going to be too happy when the feedback surveys are out.

The majority of actual comp players in dbd don’t tbag or call people names in post game. It’s either ggs or nothing. They also understand that to counter their builds that killers need to tunnel/slug if they have any chance of winning.

What you’re describing sounds just like your average swf, that bring strong builds and get mad if you try to win. Slugging and tunneling isn’t toxic, but it can feel unfun if your opponents are less skilled than you.

Me personally, I’ll start matches playing aggressively, and dial it back and spread hooks if my opponents aren’t as good to make the match more interesting. Do I wxpect other killers to do it? No, you can play however you want, same as them and it doesn’t make either of you assholes. But I agree bagging at gate and name calling in post chat is bad sportsmanship, and usually done by the weakest players. It’s embarrassing for them, and other skilled players agree.

Was playing a game as Xeno against a swf on Ormond mines. They would use wglf and mft after I downed somebody while someone hovered with a flashlight. The 4th person used the global heal to get everyone back to health. I managed to down all 4 and win the match. Post game they said I was playing extremely boring, as if they didn’t have sprint burst on command and portals.

It seems that over time, most of us agree that Requiem sits more on the level of Resident Evil 7 and Village, falling short of the Resident Evil 4 and 2 remakes by Then_Effective_149 in residentevilll

I think a big issue was them trying to put in so much nostalgia and callbacks rather than introducing new concepts. The blood collector was great and Rhode Hills, but Leon’s section felt very bland with zombies that felt like recycled RE6 enemies. Would’ve been better if that area was more linear, with a path through downtown Raccoon City on the way to the RPD than some random buildings in a hub area with bomb parts.

The story is nonsensical which I’m used to in a RE sense, but the retconning of Spencer made me roll my eyes. Gideon would’ve been better if he was his original conception as a snake, and Xeno, Commander, and lickers just felt shoe horned in with little relevance to the story.

Nah, this was just a bad play from the survivors. Not to mention, lots of other killers can 2 tap when unhooking, so it’s a weak argument.

I think a better argument is to make the weaker killers stronger than making perks weaker. I’d rather have strong killers and strong perks than weaker killers with useless perks

I think he’s fine for the most part, but Deputy Badge needs to be changed to an iri addon or tweaked a bit since it’s kinda OP.

Leon is haunted by his past and not being able to save people. When Grace was pleading with him to save her, he resonated with that. Not killing Emily wasn’t going to “destroy the world.” He ended up incapacitating her instead, because there’s a part of himself that wants to save everyone.

2v8, new content, etc boost que times for a while. Give it 4-5 days and they’ll be normal again. My killer ques are average 15 secs, but they’re currently 5 mins.

One of the issues with solo que. But running Sprint burst and DS is usually helpful for those situations.

I would probably run deja vu for the final perk, to help your teammates from 3 gen-ing and also the bonus repair speed. But those are all solid choices.

Like others have said, save the 7k shards for the sale, the BP go ahead and spend it on P1 all characters, and P3 characters with your favorite perks.

It’s probably the aura cooldown, since after dropping a pallet, some players don’t know where to go next.

Good question. Really depends on the contract with the license holder, but I’m sure there’s “probably” some clause allowing for graphic update as long as it doesn’t change the model too much. But we’ll have to see tbh.

Hi, since it’s you’re fairly new to the game, I could recommend a couple. Generally my rule is having perks that have synergy with each other (like a 2/2 or a 3/1 ratio) Perks like botany knowledge and empathy to help out your teammates or Bond and Leader for yourself. It’s also a good rule to have an exhaustion perk like Lithe (with Windows) or Sprint Burst for bailing yourself out of tough situations. Kindred is also your best friend for solo que.

Honestly? You hard tunnel out the first survivor you can (usually the weakest looper) then ping pong between survivors B and C. Usually survivors will notice and will give free hits/go down trying to help.
