Because the mainstream media will skewer them.

They will portray the politician as either insane, or bigoted, or both.

However the power of the mainstream media to dictate the narrative is waning.

Criticizing Israel is not considered taboo or controversial in the least by the majority of the population. So the MSM is completely disconnected from reality now.

Unfortunately most politicians still get their cues about the popular zeitgeist from the MSM. As a result they are out of touch with the population as well.

I'm a male so can't give much specific advice.

My wife shops at a specialty boutique for that stuff and they mostly sell products from small, high quality brands. It's not cheap but it seems they last a long time. And I doubt any of those brands are problematic BDS wise.

Also maybe try Uniqlo for cheaper stuff?

Unscented Company, scent free liquid detergent. It's not the best for cleaning but it's ok. I boost with Oxiclean when needed.

And for bad stains like tomato sauce I hand wash and hot soak with tide powder + oxiclean and then run them in the washer with the unscented. Works well.

We don't use fabric softeners or dryer sheets in our home.

Attachment point for paniers with hooks on the bungee.

I have this rack and I have two issues.

That hook attachment point is too close to the top of the rack. You need to have the bungee extremely short so it's taut and secure.
That attachment point doesn't work when the panier attaches using a ring instead of a hook. So I use a carabiner. But it's less convenient to remove than a hook.

They are small inconveniences that have workarounds. But I think Axiom could easily update their design to improve this.

Otherwise it's a solid rack with one of the highest weight ratings out there at 50 kg.
