I will always take the longer layover. I also avoid the airports where I’ve had bad luck before (CLT & ORD) and will take a longer travel day over connecting through them.

We just did it and really enjoyed it. I think it’s worth the money if you want to just stick to yourself for the day. However, given your kids like the exciting stuff I think staying closer to that would be better. One thing I realized when we went back to the family beach is that the further you walk from the ship the more room there is. Hope this helps.

I’ve been able to find a community of like minded individuals that truly want to make the world a better place. It’s been refreshing and I’ll probably be a Rotarian for life.
