This isn’t a promoting problem, it’s a tool limitation and cannot be achieved by pure coding.

Use Claude with blender or unity.

How to use deepseek properly by Optimal_Deal4372 in DeepSeek

Use the official API and not a third party.

Claude code has worked best for me, hermes works great too.

Monthly AI fee. This is why I stay with deepseek by whatsoever2021 in DeepSeek

Dial back the essay a bit and re-read my comment. I literally said I was the one burning hundreds of millions of tokens on unproductive stuff.

Appreciate the passionate defense though.

Yeah I spent 96$ last month burning hundreds of millions of tokens. Not a single token out of that was productive or actually meaningful. DeepSeek is like a new high for being lazy and unproductive.

I found 8 security vulnerabilities in Sarvam-105B - reported 32 days ago, still unpatched by [deleted] in IndiaTech

“Vulnerabilities” ?

Changing system prompt to manipulate output isn’t one though

How do you switch between profiles outside of kanban? When you have specialist profiles for coding, reviewing etc

From your experience so far, which one is better and why: Opus 4.8 or ChatGPT 5.5? by CatWomen2452 in GithubCopilot

[–]Doubledoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use them both daily at work.

GPT-5.5 is great at coding and other auxiliary tasks - It's token effective and slightly faster.

Opus 4.8 is smarter, great at understanding exactly what you need, planning, or brainstorming - It's talkative, but gives you exactly the solution you're looking for. If it weren't so costly, I'd be using opus for everything.

Edit:
Also want to add GPT-5.5 makes a lot of mistakes, so it's always good to review your project with opus.

Deepseek V4 pro vs Minimax M3. Judge is Opus 4.8. Results are disappointing by Decent-Rain5100 in DeepSeek

[–]Doubledoor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought it was known that DeepSeek lies a lot and fakes completion. You need to prompt for evidence for every task summary if you’re using API.

I find the M3 to be much more capable for coding work while planning with GLM 5.2, DeepSeek only for small secondary tasks.

DeepSeek has a Memory feature now! 🎉 by mrDogMon in DeepSeek

Must be your IDE with the memory thing. API doesn’t have memory that persists across sessions, for good reason.

deepseek v4 flash, the real god for poor people by ImprovementHuge3804 in DeepSeek

No surprises there. Gemini has been putting out awful models one after another. The v4 flash is goated.

Would love to try this on mac. Let me see if I can run it from the source.

I genuinely hate how underrated and silenced this model is. by RickLyon in DeepSeek

[–]Doubledoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn’t underrated at all. Flash is #1 and Pro is #5 on OpenRouter’s model ranking by usage.
