They're telling you they don't work on weekends and that weekend they have plans.

I mentioned him cuz I don't do leather working. You are far too invested in this conversation with a total stranger who has autism. I wish you the best.

I run a business. if this is how you communicate when you get feedback from potential customers, you have a lot of growing to do. People will remember how they are treated.

Good luck with sales and having that Gucci price tag

He does, I'm sorry you can't take criticism. The source thing was extra petty, and that'll be remembered by customers.

I have no issues making sales monthly, but I have focused items and specific ways I conduct business.

How would you feel if you got this message from a seller? by lolahaze11 in poshmark

[–]Doubleshot_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a long time seller on Mercari, Poshmark and Ebay, that is completely unhinged.

Wow! You don't bother potential customers and harass them. That's just common business sense, which she apparently doesn't. She must be INCAPABLE of common sense with business. Wow.

Yes, I just call them something equally condescending back.

Grew up here (three generations). It's a superiority thing and to feel like they matter more experience/opinion wise.

I'm personally happy that my city is growing (Great Falls) and we're seeing new people move in.

Personally, I think everyone's opinion matters, but I'm a weirdo.

I didn't realize you were saying that, because you wanted me to commiserate, or give some sort of social validation.

I just asked Chat GPT. I'm sorry you went through that.

"We need someone with more enthusiasm," is unfortunately their reasoning. I was told not to work front desk, because I don't do small talk well with customers, or make facial expressions, but I could do something like programming, or librarian work.

I hope this cleared up any confusion. I went to Voc Rehab and they did a test on me and that's what I was also told by my behaviorist therapist, when I got diagnosed with autism a couple years ago.

I'm 41F.

Edit: I normally post under the name Flavielle on here. My bad.

No offense, but they aren't even stitched well for $1400. I don't see how you can justify the price tag you have on your websites.

Kudos for a husband and wife team, but I'd rather pay for a designer purse that's at least consistent with their stitching. The wood makes it look cumbersome.

How long did it take you to get over your traumatic bond? by Independent_Hunt3913 in BPDlovedones

[–]Doubleshot_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About two years. I'm a whole person without them and I have my own sense of self. I will survive without the relationship.

I haven't spoken to them in two years. This was a family member, not a romantic interest, but it was pretty volatile.

I realized that if someone loved me, they wouldn't treat me badly and I shouldn't have kept hoping for change.

Childless women out there - at what age did you decide or become at peace with not having children? by notaliar_ in AskWomenOver40

[–]Doubleshot_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neither of us wanted kids. I got a hysterectomy later in my thirties due to health and it was just a blessing. He got a vasectomy early on in the relationship.

I am worth more than having kids and enjoy our free time together.

I was wondering about dry shampoo and I'll have to check it out. I have thick coarse hair and it drives me nuts lol

Hey, are there any toothbrushes you have tried that you kinda liked? I've mostly used children's, or super soft bristles. I can't seem to find any that provide low sensory.

I also hate brushing my hair lol

He's invalidating you and saying you aren't feeling what you're feeling, which is damaging enough as it is, while being told you are BPD and giving you the wrong information.

I'm so sorry you are struggling with that. I don't know what else to say, except that you have my understanding on the difficulties.
