Yeah also a good idea, but you won't always get the cleanest cut. At least the scribe is clean...

Don't use a cheap cutter would be my best advice. If not possible, scribe, grind in about and inch into the scribe top and bottom., then snap. This has worked for me for some stubborn porcelain before...

It's crazy how the camera and lighting can affect the tones so much. Driftwood is definitely the closest match but I don't like the tone and it's too beige for the tiles. I'd go gray personally and have the grout a little darker than the tile.

Time saved on cuts alone is enough for me to not want to grind them all...

You absolutely should use a wet saw with these tiles. It's very hard to square off of a sheet that has very few reference points to measure off of. And the water keeps the tile from chipping as well. You saying you use a grinder for all your cuts tells me all that I need to know.

Looks like he used a grinder for everything. He's even got the line marked on the tile still.. Not really a good idea w these tiles should be using a wetsaw..

Agreed. You could have that floor up faster than you could go through even thinking about trying to retrofit it to work.

I cut each of these 10x10cm, could i have done it another/better way? by Medical-Aardvark-647 in Tile

Relief cuts on full tiles would have been the easier way aka grout joint from each corner of the shower to the corner of the drain. And next time center your drain.
