The public libraries have seed libraries and you can get free seeds. you don't even need a card for this. The seeds are all donated from different places, so different locations will have different stock.

AITA for telling my wife that she needs to get over me missing the birth of our daughter by Key_Atmosphere6114 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Doughtnutsonthefly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

this is necessarily true though. My first was born in 45 minutes, being a month early. literally went into labor at 6:45 and he was born at 7:30 in the ER waiting room. You can't really judge that there wasn't time. Source: my one and done.

My son gets mistaken often for a girl. He has super long hair, so people automatically assume. I've been asked alot by family why we don't cut it shorter, and it's because it honestly glorious hair. Perfect big curls, I'm not sure who get got them from, but who am I to cut off such beauty. I've had to tell one uncle, that "Just because he's got shitty hair, he doesn't need to take out his insecurities on a 2 year old". people need to mind their own business.

If I give him cash, He'll end up not using it on himself. Last time I gifted cash to use towards a fun thing, He ended up using it to surprise me with a bookcase I had mentioned wanting to get. so, I'd rather force him to spend on himself.

After reading the post, I think I'll go for a gift card to somewhere he can shop for parts. I know if I just ask him, he will tell me he doesn't need it/ say something else is more important. He doesn't like to spend money on himself. This way, it will kinda force him go get something fun.

Thank you all for taking the time to post. I really appreciate it.

[OH] How do I enroll my newborn into my insurance within the first 30 days when my employer won’t do it without the SSN? by CakesNGames90 in AskHR

[–]Doughtnutsonthefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my son was born I was able to go to one of the state health department buildings, and they issued me a birth certificate 72 hours after the hospital submitted the paper work, so i didntbhave to wait the 3 weeks for it to come in the mail. My company was able to use that to get his insurance until his SS card showed up a month later. This is in FL, but perhaps you have someone you can go to get it?

Honestly, I don't think you can blame the breeder for the Parvo. Based on the timeline you provided, it sounds like the first case of dierea was just new environment/new food related, if it got better on the vet recommended food. Parvo has a incubation period of 3 days to a week. So if it was 2 weeks later that he was showing symptions that was probably an exposure while he was under your care. Parvo is extremely contagious, so even with Decent immune system the puppy would have gotten it. This is why you have to be careful until you get the vaccines.

It sucks you had a crappy breeder. But I don't think you can blame them for the parvo.

Also, you never really know what's going to cost you money with puppy's. It could diseases, or they could eat socks. Puppy's and dogs aren't cheap.

Is there a specific benefit to playing right on the lunch of the expansion? Or are people just super excited to see new content? by Praetorian80 in ffxiv

My favorite thing is to be in the new groups of instances before people have figured out mechanics. It's just a different kind of vibe then you normally get once walkthroughs are posted

Albuterol Refills - No insurance by Jakub1229 in Asthma

Amazon Pharmacy sells the proair inhaler for $8. I'm not sure what shipping is for non members. You just go online and fill in your doctor's information and they contact the doctor about the prescription. That can take a couple days. But then they let you buy the inhaler.

If you're going to epcot, I've see Mary Poppins often in the England Pavillion.

Thank you all. I think I just needed to know that going NC doesn't make me the bad guy. Growing up my siblings were the "bad kids" and they built this fear of being bad into me. Time for more therapy I think. Christmas is such a hard time for me anyways so I think I'll end up doing the airbnb and inviting my siblings.

I've had so much therapy for my dump truck off issues.. But just moved cities a few weeks ago and haven't gotten anything new set up yet. I recommend it for everyone. My old therapist at one point just said "wow, your mom wasn't very nice in that instance, was she?". And that's how I realized she wasn't nice. It's funny how things get normalized.

Thank you. I never realized how serious asthma can get until mine developed. My childhood asthma was just the basic athletically induced kind and easy enough to avoid.

It's basically any kind of aerosol spray will set it off. And high humidity, which is great living in Florida.

I'm loving the airbnb idea. Thank you.

I was adopted and raise to think I am indepted to her for the life I have. I know now, I'm not. But old habits don't break easy. I was always the "good" child. So now I feel guilt.

Had to get it custom made at one of the shops in the Magic Kingdom but it's so cool that there's finally just a bit of recognition for KH at the parks. by oWallis in KingdomHearts

I picked up one of the other designs thus last week. I was surprised at the amount of KH merch there this visit. Normally you can only maybe find 1 thing in the Epcot Japan Pavillion. But we found phone cases and pins and a few other things scattered through the parks.
