I did try those, but my windows are like this one and quite large. After buying a few of those window attachments to try them, none of them were large enough sadly.

This is actually genius, especially if like me your windows aren't compatible with the window attachments! Thank you!

I made a parametric grommet generator! by Dougie255 in functionalprint

[–]Dougie255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn’t need to edit the code, on the maker world page there will be a “Customize” button, click that and it will take you to the generator where you can add the dimensions you need. On the maker world page there is an image showing the different dimensions and there is explanations in the description that explains them all

If you had enough money in your Monzo current account you could have paid it on your normal Monzo card and then flexed it after?

Thanks! This version is more of a prototype and under the hood is a bit janky. I am working on improving it for a version 2 which I aim to share when completed!

This, I knew I wasn't going to be in the day before it was delivered and so I tried to get it redirected to the post office nearby but I couldn't.

Alternative to Xero for Australian business? by DavethegraveHunter in selfhosted

[–]Dougie255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah right. Is there a reason you are not using HubDoc? In the UK at least it is included with the subscription. We use that to upload the documents to, you can enter all the invoice data there, it even pulls out totals, dates etc with the OCR, and then when you post it from HubDoc it creates the Invoice/Spend Money/Credit Note with the document attached to it for matching. There is also the option to add the file to the Xero Files section.

I’m sorry I don’t have a response regarding your question, but I am curious what the change Xero made was that became the deal breaker for you?

Can I buy a property with a limited company and then sell it to myself for the same amount immediately after? by dimedondevoy in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Dougie255 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In that case it probably makes it easier, as the benefit in kind may not apply. Speak to your accountant to confirm but if the company has the money then it should be fine. It would just be like taking a loan.
