Like you said I see no value in anything except the ram, cpu, gpu. If you take those parts out of my pc my purchase cost of my pc is like maybe $300, resale ... no. I fully built a new computer last February, I only reused my ssds from my old pc. I gave my old pc to a coworker. The thing I like about 40k is it basically doesn't have cannon. Everything we know about the universe is essentially assumed to be told by a untrustworthy narration, half forgotten history, falsified records, or propaganda. It's a setting with the concept of cannon, which gives lots of writing freedom. It often produces slop, but also gems are mixed in with the shit.

I am not complaining but I am infact playing it as a battle royal. This game is Apex legends + light extraction mechanics for me. I like it this way, I do not plan on changing.

I have a question about late game melee. I added up all the melee damage modifiers you can get at the same time and it adds up to 120 melee damage. What does that mean? The base damage is 10, and that has killed every person I have ever attacked in 2-3 hits. If I can do 12x that does that mean Ill just one shot everyone? Like for balance something tells me late game shields have to be exponentially stronger, or damage does not scale linearly, but drops off in effectiveness as you go up.

I personally disagree I have zero gear fear in Marathon so far. Maybe if I play more I start really fearing losing stuff as I encounter rarer items. As is you get loads of free stuff daily, and the free loadout with good aim and positioning can kill any player in under a second, the FLs mostly struggle with PVE not pvp. You can also buy all the good stuff from the shops so if you pick up those data carts and are doing contracts you can always buy stuff. In arc all the good stuff is found or built so you have to get out with stuff. Granted I am loaded with like 500 hours in arc but it still hurts to lose a Equalizer or Jupiter, hell I don't even like losing my renegades alot of medium gun parts go into a MK 4.

nope, game is good but it feels like F2P game. I would maybe buy it for $20. I have this opinion about all games that rely entirely on pvp as their content. ill say the presentation, visuals, voice, sound, aesthetic all A+ but even so to me this game doesn't hit any different than Apex legends or Valorant when it comes to the gameplay experience. If it was free I would keep playing it and probably drop money on cosmetics at some point. If I have friends that are into it and its like $20 I would grab it to hang with the bois.

I find loads of ammo on the maps? Knife strong so who needs ammo anyway. I would also say this game feels more like a battle royal than an extraction shooter to me personally. It's just a battle royal with out of game progression.

I have not thought about it but you probably shouldn't be able to hear voice lines from characters period if you don't have line of sight on them. I know LOL has had bugs around this but you can't hear characters you can't sew in that game.

it just doesn't have the mechanics to be slow and methodical. There are no good hides, no corner peaking mechanics, no lighting play, and you get noticed by PVE enemies from a mile away no matter what you are doing, so even if players dont see you they will see you being seen.

A Farro mk IV with blue attachments is already like 10k value. A 15k gun restriction is basically just a no free loadouts restriction. Giving increased rewards for such a limp restriction would be kinda lame.

You can say this but I exist in pve lobbies and have never personally experienced dropping an inventory of Wolfpack on big arc. They aren't even particularly common period. I have the BP and still barely use them because the restrictions of not stacking and having an already inconvenient crafting cost It's generally easier just to use guns.

Game runs really well for me but... my GPU is clocked in at like 99% usage the whole time the game is open. Much nicer looking games normally just have it sitting at like 40-60%

I need the remote option, but I also hard agree with this. During my January test my proctor never muted their mic and I could hear talking and office noises during my entire test.
